kaibigan o ka-ibigan!?

We went home late, I ask hiel to go inside and I offer him a sit and the books he ask from me, we chit chat a bit then he head home.

"Bye kedd" he kissed my checks which surprised me very much then he wave at me when he reaches the car.

Walking back I was very flushed and very much tomato looking. What the he'll is happening to me!?

Hiel's pov.

A smile was still plastered in my face while I drove home late tonight...

I parked my car and headed inside the house, my brother Harvy was sitting at the couch

"San ka galing? Bat ang laki nga ngiti mo bro.?" He asks while I was walking down the hall.

"Bahay ng kaibigan" I got into my room and change, his voice was muffled so I went back to the living room and settled in front of him

"What?" He was smiling mischievously at me.

"Kuya, somethings fishy. Is that friend a "she"" and moved his hands into a quotable sign rolling the word she by his tongue at the same time.

I looked at him, and arch my brows "so?" I asked and lay at the couch.

"I knew it! You filth!" Harvy screamed at me while laughing his ars out.

"Really bro!?" I sarcastically said. Harvy is younger than me by 4 years, and his 20. He was still laughing and rolling on the floor when I walked out and went back to my room.

I'm Hielsysmone Martin by the way, well as you all know I really hate my name. It was my father's, and I loathe him! He's the reason why my mom ceased to exist and I will never forgive him for that. Tssk. So much for my anger,

I'm 24 years old by the way, a finance manager, I'm already 2 years in this industry and I think I'm doing well, Harvy Gabriel is my only brother and we lives with our mother before she died when I was 20 and he's 16. He was still studying right now so he stays on his flat near his school; we struggle on our own mabuti nalang at may iniwan si mama'ng pera para pang aral naming dalawa. I on the other hand live alone for 4 years now, dito umuuwi si harvy for the weekend. My brother and I were very close though our ages aren't very close; we still treat each other like best friends. I love my brother, Harvy very much kahit na sakit sa ulo yung batang yun. after all he is the only family I have, but I also treat Veernon as my sibling and so with quoin, and vice versa, i looked up to them because they we're the ones who we're at my side when my mother died few years ago. And I guess they also treat kedd as their sibling, I remember I receive a threat from them on our way back from the boutique.

Flashback...

"You like kedd, do you? Type mo sya diba?" quoin asked me when we reach their home after that day at the dress rehearsals. I only nod

"Kedd's very fragile and if you are interested with her, make sure not to make her cry or else...."she moved her hands to her throat in a slicing movement. I gulp and Veer laughed.

"Remember hiel, she's a damage case so make sure to treat her right and love her with everything you've got." She added

"I will, yet you don't need to remind me though" I looked at her in the eyes to show her my sincerity. She just flip her hair and left the car.

"I trust you hiel so don't break it by hurting my friend" was all he said and went after his bride.

I was the only one left in the car. I sigh and drove home.

If they only know how long I knew her they can tell that I already know everything about her, "maybe she just forget about me, but I will make her remember" was all I thought before dozing off to sleep because of exhaustion.

Kedd's P.O.V

Today is a lonely day so I ask my friends to look for adventure but only hiel was free to go with me on a hike, but I don't know where to go so he suggested a good place.

"A cliff? " I asks him kasi all he did was grin starting kanina "you like it?" He ask me "are you kidding me!? I love it!? Anyway Kaninong property to!?" I exclaimed

Nagkibit balikat sya " you know,may nag sabi kasi sakin noon, na... nakaka wala daw ng strees ang pagsigaw sa kawalan" pag Iwas nya sa tanong ko.

"Talaga ?" He just nooded and shout.

"Ganito.... ANG GWAPO KO!" I tssk at him and frown "haha ikaw naman! Sigi na!"

I sigh "fine! ANG FEELING NG KASAMA KO!" And we laugh "grave ka!" Hiel pinch me lightly "jeez!" And I laugh again.

" I'M IN TOP OF THE WORLD!" He sigh and steep forward

"PA! I HATE EVERYTHING YOU DID! KAY MOMMY AT SAMIN NI HARVY! PERO.. OKAY NARIN! AT LEAST NA TOTONAN KONG MAGING INDEPENDENT! " I stared at him. He noddes at me and encourage me to scream and held out every thing that I've been hiding for sometime now.

"R-RANCE! ANG S-SAKIT SAKIT NA! K-KAYA.... SANA ..MASAYA KA NA KUNG SAAN KA MAN N-NGAYON!" The rain started to fall. I turn to him and he enclose me with a hug. I break down and cried in his arms

He frown "kedd. Hush... tell me." Then i told him about me, not wanting to go to the cementery, i wanna visit Rance Because its his death anniversary today but I couldn't..

" He was my Ex" then he eyid me and let go. He bent forward and bring his hands to his mouth "RANCE!? OKAY KA NA NAMAN JAN DIBA!? KAYA.... AKO NAMAN ANG MAG MAMAHAL SA BABAENG TO! AKO NANG BAHALA SA KANYA!" Shock was writing all over my face as I looked at him. "MAGPAHINGA KANA! PROMISE AALAGAAN KO SYA!?" he face me and slowly lowered his head and kissed me tenderly at my forehead. "I know your confuse, but... just let me okay? I'll Tell you everything soon..." he trialed of, I dont know what to say so I just nooded.

after awhile I told him that i wanted to go home because we we're soaking. The rain stops and I stormed to the car. I can feel that he's looking at how I turn my back on him.

Hiel's P.O.V

I look at her while she was sleeping on our way home "I don't know what to Think.." but it hurts seeing the one you love, loving someone else. Kahit pa sabihing gusto na nyang magpalaya, kitang kita naman na mahal nya eh.Then and then I promised to myself that I will never leave her... never. Well if she wants me to.

The next day I went barging in Veer's house looking for him, I meet Quoin at the front door

"Hi Mrs. Aragon, may i ask where is your awful wedded husband right now?" she laugh at the statement

"Hellow to You Mr. Martin, he's at the back" I stormed there and put the beer I brought and sat.

"Hey to you too!?" I frowned at him

"I'm with her (kedd) yesterday" and he went serious

"where did you bring her?" Tanong nya at inabot ang beer..

" we went to the cliff" he sigh

"so what happen? Kasi it's rance' Death anniversary yesterday..." Veer said as he gulp his drink

"I know, she told me.." This time ako naman ang huminga ng malalim

"she did!?" he looks At me with disbelief

"yeah, why do you look so surprised?"

"Kasi.... ayaw nyang pag usapan si Rance.. anyway bakit ba ganyan ang muka mo?" Tanong nya.

"I don't know what to do Veer, mas nasasaktan ako kapag nakikita ko syang umiiyak." I bowed and held my head.

Veer puts his hand on my back, to ease what I feel I guess? "Wala tayong magagawa sa bagay na Yan bro. Alam mo yan!"

"Yun nga eh! Wala akong magawa!" I almost sceam at him.

"Oo...." he cuts himself by drinking "and thats why it's hard to love someone who's not yet done loving someone else hiel.."

I brush my fingers on my hiar and starts pulling it "you're just thinking too much hiel... you love her right ?" tanong nya and i nooded " then you wait" he tap my shoulder again and gave me a little smile. He stood up and headed to their home.

"Mabuti pa si Veer, he now have what he wants" I mumbled at menasahe ang aking sintido. I looked up in the sky "mukang nakikiramay din and langit ah..." the sky suprisingly lack's it's glow tonight and I sigh..
