Marinette didn't made any moves as she saw Luckas slowly moving closer to her, Adrien and Gray.
"Why hello dears. It has been a while. What were you up to?" Luckas said with a sly smirk, as if he was plotting murder. Who knows? Maybe he was.
"What brings an original here? Do you need a warlocks power again? I'm tellin' you mr. original, this isn't a place for you." Kierran said, his face red with anger. There had obviously been something between them in the past, Marinette thought, but she didn't knew what.
"There now, calm down Kierran." Gray said, slowly parting the warlocks shoulder. "What brings you here Luckas? What are you up to now?"
"I was simply passing by, and I saw you and your Adrien here, talking to Kierran. Then I thought I should pay a visit. Is that wrong?" Luckas asked, playing the role of innocent.
"Oh, why isn't the fledgling here with you two?" Gray sighed. "She's at the house with the girls and Nino. Now kindly leave please, Luckas." He said.
Luckas stopped for a moment, and started sniffing the air.
"Something is fishy here. I smell angel blood." He said.
"Angel blood?" Adrien asked, obviously clueless about why he would smell angel blood."Why yes. You are a vampire Adrien, Gray. Don't you smell this... breathtaking smell?" Luckas said, his sly smirk once again appearing on his demonically attractive face.
Marinette's POV
I felt is my heart was about to stop. There he was, the devil himself, standing right in front of me. I felt as if I couldn't breathe. But since I am a vampire, I don't really need to breath... right?
Standing here next to Adrien and Gray, I felt uncomfortable. The thought filled me up though. What did Luckas meant by the angel blood? I'm just a human right? Well, was to be exact.
I sighed silently as I saw the worried face of Adrien, trying not to look at me so he wouldn't look suspicious. I really wanted to grab him, and warp my arms around him at the moment. He made me feel safe.
But now really wasn't a time to feel safe anyway wasn't it?
3rd person POV
"No, we don't smell anything, now go." Kierran managed to say, breaking the cold silence.
"Alright alright, I will leave. It seems like I'm not wanted here." Luckas said as he walked up to the door, but then stopped, turning around to face them.
"But mark my words fellow vampires, I will get my hand on that angel, just like I did before with that old Marked girl of yours. It might have been centuries," Luckas said. "But when did that ever stopped me?"
And with that, he was gone, just like the wind.
The odd silence filled the room.
Gray made sure that Luckas was really gone. Indeed he was. All of them sighed in relief.
"That was a close one. But now you should really go." Kierran said. "The spell might have worked, but it won't last forever. So if I were you Marinette, I would use that time to figure something out that would surely seal away the originals." Kierran said.
Marinette looked at him, and then Gray and Adrien out of confusion. "Why not kill? Can you even kill the originals? Is that even possible?" She asked. "You ask lots of questions little girl. I would leave now if I were you." Kierran said.
"Alright, we shall leave then." Gray said, and they went into the car that had been waiting for them for god knows how long.
As they sat in silently, Marinette couldn't help but break the silence with her questions.
"Say, can you kill the originals?" She asked. Both Adrien and Gray looked at her, but with no expression whatsoever.
"Yes, and no." Gray simply said. "What does that supposed to mean?" Marinette asked.
"It means," Adrien said. "that you can indeed kill them. But if you kill them all, you will also kill all of the vampires that exist. Including us and you." He said.
"How is that possible?" "You see Marinette, the originals were the first vampires that has ever existed. So that makes them extremely strong, and unkillible." Gray said.
"But that also means that the race of the vampires stared with them. So that means that when we become vampires, we become a vampire that is created by their bloodline. So they are like the main resource of our livings. If they die, so does the race of vampires. And believe me dear, you don't want that." Gray finished.
"But there is a weapon that could kill them, right?" Marinette asked.
"Yes there is. And that weapon is the white oak stake." Adrien said.
"But it's impossible to get your hands on it. Luckas and his original family hides it somewhere ." He said. Before they could continue their talk about the originals, the car stopped in front of the mansion. The unknown driver opened the door for them, and they got out of the car, walking up to the front door.
Adrien rang the doorbell, and his little sister Luna opened the door. But Luna had a worried look on her face.
"Lu? What's wrong? You look worried." Adrien asked.
"We have a visitor..." Luna said, obviously not happy even at the thought of it.
"Who?" Gray asked. "It's someone that we haven't seen in a long time ago..." She said.
The three walked in the house. Marinette felt a little nervous though. She was new to this whole vampire thing, and things were getting intense already. I mean, come on! There was a psychotic original after her blood. How worse could it possibly be?
They walked into the living room. Nino and Alya was sitting on the couch silently. Luna sat to the other couch.
There was one face that Marinette didn't found so familiar though. It was a guy with platinum blonde hair and dark blue eyes.
The she suddenly looked at Adrien and noticed how uncomfortable he looked. Actually, everyone looked uncomfortable.
"This is Gabriel." Adrien said quietly to Marinette.
"My... Father."
