Hiccup's POV:

I was on a beach, but when I looked down, I was see through! I remembered collapsing, and my dad rushing towards me after I shut the door on the storm... But that was it.

There was a boat, and it had no symbols of Viking tribes on it. What's a boat doing here? Especially after... Oh, no! I realized what was going on. Someone got shipwrecked, and it could be someone from Berk! I found out I actually couldn't move anything but my head. So I watched.

Nothing but sand being blown by the breeze happened, which must mean the storm had died down already. The rain was also gone, but something's caught my eye.

I looked hard at the open edge of the boat. A hand reached out, pale a some what small, so it must be a girl, around sixteen like me. She wore a black, long sleeved shirt that fell loose around her wrist. She seemed to rise, feeling no rain, and I saw a black boot with black yak wool.

Ok, she clearly likes black. I saw swaying black hair, tinged with blood red at the tips. On her shoulders were silver spikes.

In slow motion, I watched her change, her skin becoming-

Before I could see anything else, the image changed, I couldn't see even her face! I saw fire scorch the endless void, spelling thorn. I immediately understood that this was the girls name. I woke with a shudder...

I was in my bed resting. I moved quickly, jerking my head to make sure I wasn't see through, and that I could move. Big mistake. My body was sore from being whipped by the wind and falling on the floor. Stoic, Toothless, Astrid, and Ruffnut were standing around me... Wait, Ruffnut? What's he doing here? I tried to get up, but Astrid pushed me down by my chest gently. I cleared my throat.

"How long was I out?"

"Half an hour," Ruffnut said a matter of factly. I tried sitting up again, then stood. Darn, my good leg fell asleep! I shook it out, then walked over to Ruffnut.

"Are you ok?" I asked. "You've been acting strange, like... Serious." He shrugged, but a bead of sweat formed above his brow.

"Well, I'd love to chat..." Ruffnut started. I grabbed his shoulder.

"Until you tell me what's going on, you're not going anywhere." He gulped, then gestured me to follow him. So Astrid, Toothless, and I did.
