Tuffnut's POV:
I couldn't help it! I wanted to look into Thorn's eyes forever... But something tugging inside said not to. I walked home sadly, trying to catch up with Ruffnut. I sighed. I knew I just met Thorn, but I think I... Like her. She's pretty, tough, pretty tough... Yeah, I don't know much about her yet. But maybe I could eventually. That thought lifted my spirits, so I ran and tackled Ruffnut.
"Hey!" She shouted. "Get off!" She punched me in the face, then I slapped her arm. We grunted, holding each others helmets by the horns and whacking each other. We walked through the door, pulling apart quickly when we saw yak for dinner on the table. I wonder what Thorn's favorite food is.
I shoved the pieces of meat in my mouth and ran to my room... Which was only a few feet away. But I was frustrated. I felt weird.
So I ran outside and hopped on my dragon, then remembered the needed Ruffnut with me to fly them. So I jumped and ran away.
I didn't stop until I fell into the cove. Not my brightest idea, but then again, when have I ever had a good one? I landed on my face, but I shook myself off as I got up slowly. When I was standing, I looked into the water. I don't know why though. But I didn't see myself, in the reflection...
To be continued...
