Rascal's POV:

I was Thorn's brother once, her twin to be exact. That was a year ago, and I've been stuck here ever since Thorn froze me. Yup, the lake in the cove on Berk. But the special viking from the prophecy I received has finally come. I heard the message when I - well, I'm not dead, I'm still alive, my spirit has just left my body. It stinks, having fish as my only friends. Anyways, the prophecy states:

The one with a twin just like you will hold the key to the next clue.

A look in water will change much more than the taming of dragons has ever before.

You will have to wait for one whole year in a lake with an experience quite queer.

I shook my head, which I was actually forced to when the long haired boy shook his. I can't blame him. He reached into the water with a spark of curiosity and touched my forearm. He yelped and jumped back in surprise, so I had to, too. He reached in quickly, held on, and pulled me out.

I staggered, not used to being outside of the water anymore.

"Woah," the blond boy said. "Awesome! I pulled out some guy from a lake after I fell on my face!" I face palmed. Ok, the prophecy making sure I was released did NOT pick the smartest guy in the circuit. But I didn't care. I was free!... From the water, at least. I must have spaced out in wonder, though, because the boy tried to punch me, which only made my spirit body waver. "Uh, hel-lo? Anyone there? I asked what your name is, and why I went through you!" I shook my head.

"I'm Rascal," I said roughly. "And I'm... Well, in a way, dead. I was the twin brother of Thorn." He didn't look impressed by my explanation at first. But then he began to grin.

"Hah, a prankster like me! Well, I don't know about you, but I'm as prankstery as a fox." I didn't give this much thought.

"It's true," I argued. I walked towards the water until my toes touched the edge of it.

"You know you can't walk on water, right?... Or can you..." The boy pondered. I continued on and touched the surface like it was land. The boy ran to follow me, but fell into lake. I had to stifle a laugh as he readjusted his helmet.

"Okay, so you ARE a ghost. I'm Tuffnut," the boy said. "I also have a twin. Her name is Ruffnut." I nodded, thinking the name suited at least Tuffnut. All brawn and no brains... Maybe not even brawn. I remembered one little thing.

"You can't tell anyone about me, not even Thorn herself. This'll be our little secret."
