Chapter Four: Home Sweet Home

   (Adam's POV)

   Why does Blake do these things to me?! He gave me a small erection just by him flexing his arm muscles! Oh, and don't even get me started on what happened this morning while he was changing!

   Is he doing this on purpose? Does he actually know that I like him? I'm currently laying on the bed in the hotel room while Blake went out to get some movies and stuff. He asked if I wanted to go but I didn't really feel like walking into Walmart with a boner so I declined his offer.

   I open up iMessage and decide to text Christina 'cause why not? (A for Adam;C for Christina)

A: I'm bored so talk to me
C: Um, okay? What do you want to talk about?
A: I don't know
C: -.-
A: Sorry I just need to do something to get my mind off of Blake :P
C: FaceTime me then little fucker!
A: Jeez okay fine!

   I call Chris over FaceTime and shortly after, her face appears on my phone screen. "Let's play Truth or Dare!" She suggests. "Fine. You ask me first though!" I say excitedly.

   "Truth or dare?" She asks. "Dare." I reply with a wink. "Hm, I dare you to..." she trails off thinking. "Kiss someone of the same sex...on the lips." She says with an evil smirk and I already know who she is wanting me to kiss.

   "The specific male you are talking about isn't even---" I start to say and then the door opens. "Adam, I'm back. Oh, and hi Tina!" Blake yells to the camera. I glance back at the phone. "Hey Blake!" She says and then looks at me with an evil grin. Oh no...

(Blake's POV)

   I went out to Walmart just to grab a few movies and stuff and like that when I notice that 'Fifty Shades Darker' is finally out on DVD. I smile remembering that Adam has a thing for me and I grab the case. I also grab 'Don't Breathe' and head to the checkout.

   I pay for the two movies and then grab the bag and walk out to Adam's car that I borrowed and I hop in the drivers seat. I take the two movies out of the bag with a brilliant idea and I open both cases and take out both disks and switch them.

   I grab my small backpack in the back of his car and put the 'Fifty Shades Darker' case in it which has the Insidious movie in the case and then I reach for my plastic pair of hand cuffs that I have which originally belonged to Gwen's kids.

   I smile widely as I know exactly how I'm gonna play this out. Adam MUST tell me that he likes me first or give off a vibe that he likes me so that this will work and not be awkward. I put the car in drive and I head back to the hotel.

~~Le Time Skip~~

   I arrive back at the hotel and sprint to the elevator with the backpack on my back and the key card in hand. I reach the room and go to open it but I hear Adam talking. "Dare." He says and then I hear what sounds like Christina Aguilera saying, "Hm, I dare you to kiss someone of the same sex on the lips." I gasp at this as I know that she wants Adam to kiss me and I feel like he knows that too. If he actually does then this plan will work out PERFECTLY!

   I open the door and announce my presence and say hello to Adam and Christina. Adam looks surprised to see me and I see Christina smirk on the phone. Adam starts to look a little paranoid. "Hey Chris, let's finish this later." He says about to end the call but she speaks up. "Oh no rockstar, I want to see this!"

   He sighs and I decide to ask what she means and Adam says "It's nothing man. Don't worry about it." So I say "Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything right bud?" I say a little too sympathetically and I hear a surprised gasp come from Christina.

   "Heh Blake! Do me a favor..." She trails off and I wink at her already knowing what she wants me to do and so she says "Never mind. It's nothing." She says trying to cover up what just happened. Adam is looking at the floor and blushing more every step I take towards him. I lay my hand on his shoulder and pull him into a hug but this hug was different. I actually felt something from this hug. I felt something that made me want to never let go of him.

   Before I realize what I was feeling I feel Adam pull his head off of my shoulder but he is still hugging me. He looks deeply into my eyes and I catch myself staring right back at him. He leans in a little closer and I start to lean in a little closer. Our lips are centimeters away from touching and we can both hear Christina shriek with excitement.

   We continue moving closer and I get braced for what is about to happen. He is so close to me and everything just turns to slow motion and I want to stay here in Adam's arms forever. His bottom lip brushed against my upper lip. *Knock. Knock.*

   Adam quickly pulls away and turns a very deep shade of red and dashes for the bathroom, slamming the door shut. I open the door to see a lady standing there with a bottle of wine and some complementary snacks. "What's all this?" I ask curiously. "My manager had no idea that THE Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were staying here and once he found out, he ordered me to bring you up some complementary items and to also inform you that tomorrow the both of you will be moved up to the penthouse suite!" The worker says smiling brightly. "Aw thank you so much lil' darling!" I say as I grab the bag of goods and bottle of wine from her. I close the door and go set all this stuff on the table.

   I hear a cry of help and notice that Adam didn't end the call with Christina. "Jesus! Sorry Christina, Adam probably forgot you were there." I say with a small laugh. "No time for jokes Shelton. Get in that damn bathroom and tell that damn man that you love him because it's obvious that you do." She says sternly. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever," I say and end the call.

   Adam comes out and lays in the bed without even making eye contact with me. I decide to just sleep on the chair in the corner of the room tonight.
