Chapter 2- Love is weird

Toffee POV

'Why can't I stop thinking of her....' I thought as I replay that beautiful image of her. Her eyes. Those gorgeous (e/c) eyes. And her hair,god! That (h/c) has my heart completely.

'What will happen if I told her my feelings....?'

(Y/n) POV

I smiled as Moon was telling me her story of what happened at the party with her fiance.

"That's hilarious! Why would he do that?" I giggled at the ridiculous story of her friends daring her fiance to drink the wine while holding his breath. Just the thought of that night brought up memories of me and....Toffee. He's such a great dancer,and those huge hands around my waist and me being able to be hand in hand with his own.... "Such a dream~" Moon looked up at me with a questionable look. "(Y/n)...? You okay?" She looked at me as though I was crazy. "Oh! I'm fine Moon. Sorry I was dazing off..." I blushed then went back to braiding her hair. "You were thinking of Toffee weren't you?" She said smugly. "W-wha..." "I know you like him.... Everyone in the castle knows about you two having feelings for each other." "But how??" "It's obvious, well, except for you two..." I sighed then finished her braid. "there you are your Highness..." "Thank you.. That will be all." I nod and walk out Moon's room and head to the garden. "Oh hello (Y/n)... Nice to see you" Toffee said. He walked up to me and held up his hand. "May I escort you through the gardens?" He asked so gently. I smile and took his hand,our fingers interlocked with each other and we walked around the garden maze. "Toffee.... I wish to tell you something..." I started then sigh. "What is it (Y/n)? Are you okay?" "No... I have this feeling when I'm around you, it's like I get scared yet happy to see you and to spend time with you. I can't describe this feeling for you Toffee..." "It's love..." He simply stated. I looked up at him and blushed deeply. "What you're feeling is love... And I feel the same way...." He leaned close to my face slowly. Our lips just centimeters apart until a gaurs came out. "Toffee! The king asks for your presents at once." Toffee looked down at me and sighs. "Tell the king I will be there shortly." I looked up at him sadly.
