Chapter 3- Could this be love?

(Y/n) POV

'I can't believe we almost KISSED!! Get a hold of yourself (Y/n)! Toffee and you feel the same for each other...do we?'
I asked to myself as I walk down the halls of the castle. Why was this moment getting to me easily. I have fought demons and monsters, but why is this little thing getting to me. Its not like I haven't kissed someone in the past...

(Flash back baby!)

It was just the beginning of the cool winter. A small girl was walking with her reptilian friend who was there for her in everything. As they walked in deeper the girl tripped on a stump then accidentally fell on the boy,their lips meeting for a deep accidental kiss. The boy shoved her off him and yelled. "What's wrong with you?! You're such a disgusting peasant!" He ran away,leaving the girl to herself to cry.

(End of flashback)

Since then (Y/n) wasn't the same. She would constantly apologize to anyone for nothing. She would even continue to stay single in fear of disappointing her partner. She's just like that... she never wanted to be hurt again,especially from him...

"Toffee....Why now.....?" She asked close to tears.
