So my hair is neon purple yayyy.
_______After Josh's face had become less red and his jeans were properly fixed, Frank held out his hand and Josh hesitantly took it, deciding that he could trust Frank, at least for now anyway. "Tyler is probably in the kitchen or the backyard, that's where the kegs are."
"Does he drink a lot? Tyler, I mean." Josh asked, following the other boy down the hall.
"No, but his boyfriend does and he's usually never seen in public less than two feet away from him." Frank replied, rolling his eyes.
"Are they really that bad? It's just- I've only known Tyler for a little while but when he talks about Brendon, it sounds like he doesn't get treated very well." Josh started, pausing a moment before continuing. "Sorry, I guess I shouldn't be gossiping about other people. I mean, I just met Brendon so I guess I should give him a chance."
Frank snorted. "Don't. You're right not to like him."
"Y'know, you never told me why you don't like him." Josh pointed out, mimicking Frank's movements as they maneuvered through the crowd of people in the living room.
"I didn't." He nodded. "It's not that big of a deal in the long run, honestly. Just a little high school shit."
"Then why won't you tell me if it's not a big deal?"
Frank suddenly paused, almost making the other boy trip with the abrupt stop. "Do you really want to know? It's not that bad."
Josh nodded, shifting so that he was standing in front of him.
The younger boy looked down, biting his bottom lip softly. "We sorta grew up together. My mom was friends with his mother so it just happened that we were often together. I guess it's sort of my fault what happened. I came out to him as gay when I was thirteen and he didn't care because it wasn't even a year later that he came out to me as bi. Anyway, I'd always kinda liked him, I mean he was always there for me with us being best friends and all." Frank sighed, pushing a piece of strand of hair behind his ear. "Our freshman year of high school, I told him how I felt one day when he spent the night over. He claimed he felt the same way and we had sex. I lost my virginity to him. Turns out he didn't actually have any feelings for me and he was just using me that night."
Josh frowned, taking Frank's other hand with his free one.
"He then began bragging about what he'd done to one of his other friends and it soon got around the whole school that I was a slut which led to several more emotional stories that I won't get into right now." Frank hummed, looking back up at Josh. "And that's why I hate him."
"I'm sorry, Frank, that's-that's awful."
The other boy just shrugged. "I'm over it. I mean, I'm going to continue being petty as hell towards him, but other than that it doesn't affect me anymore."
"Good." Josh nodded, giving him a gentle smile which Frank returned rather quickly after.
Frank let go of one of Josh's hands but held the other one tightly as he continued to pull him towards the kitchen.
He was right, Josh noted. There Tyler was, passed out on the kitchen counter, leaning against some cabinets as Brendon focused his attention on his friends rather than his boyfriend who was too out of it move. However, instead of guzzling down alcohol like Frank had assumed, he was passing around a bong.
Josh made a face when he smelled the smoke. Sure, he could tell it wasn't the cheap stuff they were smoking but any type of cannabis still smelled awful to him and gave him quite the headache.
