"So, am I still going over to your house later?" My wonderful boyfriend asked.

"If that's still what you want, of course!" I told him, grabbing his hands and holding them in mine. He smiled at me and grasped my hands, pulling me towards him.

"Great, I'll see you there" he winked and kissed my forehead before walking towards his next class.

I sighed in content as I thought about what movie we'd watch or what we'd do.

School was finally over and I made my way home. I anxiously waited for him to text me and tell me he was here. It took twenty minutes but instead of a text there was a knock. I jumped from my spot on the couch and ran to the door, throwing it open. He was there grinning ear to ear.

I ran into his arms, this being the first time he's ever been at my house.

"Someone's happy to see me." He jokingly winked and pulled me inside, closing the door behind him.

"Of course I am, I've been waiting for this for awhile." I hugged him again and we collapsed on the couch. I had never felt more content than right now, in this moment.

He held me in his arms, my head resting on his shoulder as we watched a movie on TV. I was barely paying attention to the movie in front of me as I was focused on the beautiful person next to me. I was so lucky to have him. I hope he thought the same of me.

Hey guys, author speaking. It's been nine months since my last update here and I apologize. I was in a really rough patch for most of those nine months and I ended a relationship I had great confidence in. It's been hard and I couldn't find the motivation to write anything.
