I stepped outside of my room, slowly beginning my decent down the stairs. Once I finally reached the bottom, I saw him standing there: My boyfriend of two and a half years.
He looked so handsome in his button up plaid shirt and black ripped skinny jeans. I walked over to him and he held out his arm. I looped mine with his and we began walking off towards the car. He smiled at me as he opened and closed the front door, his eyes lighting up with the pale moon light outside.
He opened the door for me and I stepped in carefully.
He ran over to his side and got in, starting the car and driving off.
We arrived at this mildly fancy restaurant and he quickly got out and opened my door for me again. I stepped out and he shut the door behind me.
We walked side by side, hands intertwined and swaying slightly. We got inside and sat at a table far from people, somewhere more private and romantic.
We ordered our food and drinks and shared some conversation before eating up. We talked about things like the future and school and work and what we were planning on doing with our lives. We also somehow managed to talk about nothing, just little things that aren't so big of a deal yet oh so interesting when you're discussing it with the one you love.
After the dinner, he took me down to the lake near the restaurant. He helped me onto a small rowboat and we went out to the middle of the lake. I stared straight into his eyes before leaning in and placing a soft kiss on his lips.
He laughed and kissed me back.
"What was that for?" He asked, smiling.
"For being an amazing boyfriend of course." I replied before kissing him again
