Nanbaka: The Vice Warden

✉️Return of Enki Goku!✉️

[Samon's POV]

I walked down the hallways of Building 5 after my daily morning call. Then stood in front of the office door nervously, when it opened it revealed my big brother Enki Goku. Even if he is my big brother he is way too tall, I only stand to his waist! There's a lot of differences between us two, for example as mention before, he is taller than me, stronger than me, more respected than me. I hate to admit it but he is better than me in everything ever since I was a kid.

The cool breeze of the wind hit my hair as I rested on the garden bench, until:

"He is still not here, ma'am." I walked over to see who it was.

It was the Warden! "Sorry, Warden I wasn't informed that you will be here."

"I've only been here for a few minutes myself."

"Have I done something wrong, already?"

The warden smiled and said "No, actually you've worked quite well as the Supervisor. I'm just here to inform you in person about the fact that Enki will be unsentenced and will become the Deputy Supervisor of Building 5, starting next week."

"Even after everything he has done?" Inori interrupted from the hedges, not knowing that it was the Warden he was speaking to.

"Yes, I don't know why but the Goverments later claimed that he was not guilty. They mentioned that my sister made a deal with them, so I guess this is her doing." She paused. "I need to go back to my office now. So see you tomorrow." With that the warden walked off with her train of 8 guards trailing behind her.

Nobody's POV

The Goku brothers walked to the Supervisors' Break Room. Samon went over to the fridge to get his blue popsicle, while Enki noticed a little girl with white hair sitting at a coffee table having afternoon tea with Kiji. Quite frankly everybody was there, and they were for some reason not surprised about the return of Enki.

"Yukimi dear, can you teach me how to make this? It tastes wonderful." Kiji complimented the raspberry torte. Just then Enki's shadow towered over the little fragile doll, and picked her up by her collar. "Kaaa! What are you doing Enki put her down immediately!"

"Why is there a little girl here? In Nanba Prison?" The other supervisors looked at their direction (just like every other episode/part),

Samon whispered loudly, "Put her down!" and Yukimi just doesn't look the least bit agitated and was still stuffing her face with that raspberry chocolate cake, then swallowed.

"You must be Enki, Samon's big brother."

"I am, so what?" 'I guess this is what they call kawaii.' He thought looking at Yukimi.

"I'm Yukimi, nice to meet you." She raised her hand for a greeting handshake, but he just gave her a finger since he was enormous. He then looked at Kiji.

"Anyways, why is this kid here—" Yukimi's heel came in contact with Enki's face in a split second straight after she heard the 'K' word. Sending him flying.

'When did she get this strong!' the guards thought in sync.

"Rule Number 1, do not refer to me as a child or kid. Unless you have a death wish. I'm the Vice Warden so treat me with respect." When she finished the sentence Enki had already picked her up by the collar once again and was hanging her out of the window with one arm. "Come on. Drop me." The others were freaking out like crazy. Then Enki dropped her. She fell and just a second before she hit the ground a giant ice skeleton emerged from the ground and caught her, it was about the size of the building! It lifted her up to the window she came out of before bursting into shards or sparkles of ice and disappeared. The supervisors jaws dropped to the ground speechless then ran out of the room leaving Enki behind. "If I were a normal human being you would've killed me."

"Are you the one who unsentenced me?"

"Yes, I am."

"Why?"

"I couldn't just watch you go behind bars when you have done nothing wrong. I know that you know the inmate you killed was a weakling who was collecting human specimens for experiments. Plus it would be fun to have somebody like you working here again." She smiled and that this moment Enki's huge heart started to pump faster. "And I have many other reasons to unsentence you."

"So you believed that it wasn't my wrongdoing? You might be the first to think that after I was released." He replied not noticing his blush.

"Here." she handed 3 black envelopes to him. "I heard that you wanted to leave this place, so this is your real sentence to work here at Nanba until you defeat me in a match. When you are able to defeat me then you may have the choice of whether to leave or stay."

"Why are you doing this?"

"This is the only fair way to end this matter, so are you playing this game or not?"

"I guess I have to."

"Yes, if you refused you'll be going back to your cage under my orders."

"Are there any rules?"

"Yes, firstly each of these 3 envelopes is a notification, to me about when and what you want to compete on, whether it's fighting or mahjong, you only have to win once, but remember you only have 3 chances, else you're staying forever until you retire legally. Secondly, not a single person is to know about this, not even the Warden. Thirdly, nobody is to help you in this, you are to defeat me yourself. And lastly no cheating."

"I haven't had a challenge in so many years."

"Me too." She smiled "I hope you'll put up a good match."

Enki: Nobody has spoken to me with such confidence ever since my father died. I have to admit she reminds me of him.

Yukimi: You're comparing me with your father?!

Enki: I must say that she is quite rebellious not telling the Warden about this. I like her.

Yukimi: blushes*

Enki: Looks behind him and sees Yukimi then blushes as well*

Yukimi: Hajime is too scared to revolt against me and now the strongest of the bunch is my ally also the boss of the other supervisors was already checkmate when I found out about her crush on Hajime, she basically does anything for advice on romance, since I'm the only other girl here. Evil laugh*
