*Chapter 9*

A month. It's been a month since my mom left. I just don't even know if I'll ever continue with my life anymore. But today I had put a little effort to get up and go to school since I've only been to school 4 times since that day. Ok maybe it wasn't me but it was Maddie who made me get up

Maddie: I know your mom is not here with you anymore but she would have wanted you to continue and follow what you've always wanted since little and you know that she's waching over you

Why does this girl always make me smile? She's fucking perfect. The perfect best friend to have

Maddie: your going to do fine. Now get your lazy ass up and let's go because I'm taking you girls to breakfast

Evelyn: at 5:30 in the morning?

Maddie: duh? We're going to Village Inn. You got 10 minutes to change and that will give us an hour to eat. Let's go

I whined and tried laying back down in my bed but Maddie pulled my arm and took me to my closet

Maddie: look for something. 10 minutes and I'll be back

I rolled my eyes while looking for something nice to wear

Maddie: there we go. You look so much better. Let's go

Evelyn: where's Jewelia?

Maddie: she's waiting in my car. Hurry up girl, I'm hungry

Evelyn: geez I'm going

We got to the restaurant and took a seat at a booth

Maddie: crépes with fries?

Jewelia and I nodded cause Maddie already knows we love crépes with fries. You see, she's the best perfect best friend. She always brings these good vibes in us. During breakfast we made jokes and talked about what we'll do later. My body felt like someone was starring so I turned looking around and spotted outside the window a man with a black hoodie. It didn't show his face because of course it was dark and his hoodie covered his face. He quickly left after he noticed I saw him. Well that was creepy, it must've been a homeless guy who was hungry, I don't know. We finished at about 6:54. 6 minutes before school starts. Let's start heading to school, yay.

Unfortunately we got to school 10 minutes late but my first period teacher won't care, we don't do anything in that class anyways. I headed towards my locker to get my books but I found a note sticked to it.

Meet me at the old locker room

Who could've left this? It didn't even say. It might be from Nick. I got my books and started going to the old locker room. Once I got there, nobody was there

Evelyn: hello?

I heard my echoes but nobody answered. Fuck this shit this place is fucking creepy. I quickly speed walked but got pulled back

Evelyn: hey!

Ryan: missed me?

Evelyn: Ryan? What the hell are you doing here?

Ryan: well I came to see my girl

Evelyn: I'm not your girl. We were done a long time ago

Ryan: I told you it was a mistake. I'm sorry

Evelyn: you know damn well that was not only once

Ryan: I have changed

Evelyn: good for you cause so have I

I rolled my eyes and continued walking but he pulled and pushed me against the lockers. Ouch! I just hit my head
