It was Friday afternoon and I have been getting ready for the past hour. School today was pretty boring as always and got a stack of homework for the weekend. Kill me now. So I decided to not wear a fancy dress cause that's what every girl wears when it's time for their date and it gets pretty boring for me just by the sound of it. Plus right now I'm not in the mood for tight dresses. All I have on is sweatpants and a shirt.....kidding! I would never, if I'm not feeling lazy. But anyways, it's kind of like a dress? No big t-shirt? I don't know but one of those with those thin leggings or whatever they're called and some shoes of course. With sunglasses cause they look cute. Trust me this is more comfortable than a dress. I was walking to the kitchen to pull out a cheesestick and started eating while listening to the t.v

Evelyn: is that fear factor?

Jewelia: yeah

I went to the living and sat next to Jewelia while I waited for Nick. Then the doorbell rung. Come on! I just sat! I groan and get up, lazily walking to the door. I look through the peep hole and see that it's Nick. I enlighten my mood and open the door

Nick: hey you ready?

He looked at me from top to bottom while I nodded my head

Nick: why are you always so fine

Evelyn: well that's how my momma made me

Jewelia: how about me?

Nick: you look fine too

Jewelia: oh I know

I rolled my eyes pushing her head and getting a angry face from Jewelia. We get out once after I got my keys and locking the door. Do I always need to repeat this? I sound so annoying but I think you guys get the drill

Jewelia: where am I going to stay?

Nick: you'll stay with Noah outside while we date

Jewelia: are you serious?!

Nick: yeah I'm serious. But to make it fair we will also bring you books outside so you won't get bored

Jewelia: come on!

I quietly giggle and Jonas turns to glance at me smiling

Jewelia: this will only be a date, as FRIENDS! I already talked about this with you Nick and I was being serious

Nick: yes I know but you can't control my feelings for Evelyn

My heart sunk once I heard that. How do you always make me feel this way? He turned and smirked to look at me and I smiled. Ok enough of this I'm sure your getting bored. Let's get to the eating part and kicking Jewelia and Noah out to the backyard. I'm kidding that never happened. They happen to be somewhere else. Anyways, I sat there waiting for Nick to finish up with the food. Your probably like 'why aren't you helping him out'. That's because he forced me not to help him. But I did help on setting up the cups and napkins. At least that's something. Nick grabbed some big round plates and forks to place the pasta on top. I saw the pasta slowly go down from the pan to the plate just like in commercials when they always announce a new pasta in town. Damn that looked good and even this time, I'm not dreaming about me eating it. What took like forever in this precious moment of silence with food and the plate was finally placed in front of me. I grabbed the fork and started savoring the moment. I closed my eyes and felt the hot pasta burn my tongue, making my eyes shot open quickly. Oh shit, I should've realized that steam was coming out from the pasta. I opened my mouth panicking and fanning my mouth to "cool" it down. I don't know why I do that knowing it won't cool it down any faster

Nick: are you ok? Here take this napkin

I saw in the corner of my eyes that he was trying so hard not to laugh. Ugh, why am I so embarrassing. I motioned him that it's fine and we finally sit down and continue our date.
