Chpt. 3

The rest of the day it rained. Which sucked because I wanted to try out the water slides they have here with my brothers and sister.

My family spent the rest of the day together. We ate lunch at the buffet and played some games at the arcade.

It's now nearly dinner time and I completely forgot about my work I had to get done.

Instead of going to dinner with my family I made a plate for myself and took it back to the room.

I have two scripts I have to finish today. Tomorrow night I have to have my opinions and the summary on both of them done too.

I shouldn't complain about the amount I have to get done though. This is literally a dream job and I am lucky to have a full time job, that pays me well, right out of college.

I look up from my computer screen when I hear pounding on the door to my hotel room. I look at the time and it's about to be 10 at night.

"Emily! Open the door!" I hear my sister say while laughing. I hop off my bed and jog to the door.

"What are you doing?" I ask opening the door. "I forgot my key, sorry." She says laughing. "Who were you with?" I ask her. "Our brothers...they left me out there and went to their room." She says taking her wet clothes off.

"We're all going to sleep early so we can go on a hike in the morning. The whole family is going, you should go too." She says laying in her bed.

"Sure sounds like fun I'll go." I say remembering how much I loved taking hikes. "No running though. Mom said it's a nice family walk." I sigh, "Fine. I'm going to get ready for bed." I say as my sister closes her eyes.

"Rise and shine!" I hear my dad say pounding on the door. I groan when I look at the clock and see that it is only 7 in the morning. It feels like I just went to sleep.

I get out of bed and put on some nike shorts and a white razor back tank top. I find my running shoes out of my bag and I throw my hair up into a pony tail.

"Last call or we are leaving you!" I hear my mom say knocking on the door slightly. They're going to wake other people up too.

"Well good morning sunshine." My dad says leaning against the wall next to the rest of my family.

"Why do girls always take so long?" my youngest brother asked. I roll my eyes and follow my family down to the dining hall. "Make sure to eat something light. You don't want to get sick on our hike." My mom says as I grab a bagel.

The hike we went on took three hours. It was hot and I am sweaty beyond words. Everyone was cranky and tired so once we all got to our hotel we all decided that spending a little bit apart would be the best for all of us.

My parents cleaned up and took a nap in their room. My brothers headed to the ocean and my sister decided to join them. For some reason I was way to exhausted to go swimming. So I took a shower and decided to explore a little around this place.

Once I'm dressed in black shorts and a thin light grey zip up hoodie and a white tank top underneath and black sandals I am ready to look around at some shops.

To my surprise when I step outside I see the grey clouds and I see that it's about to rain. Second day with rain. It's kind of unfortunate for the people at the beach but I happen to enjoy the rain most of the time so I don't really mad.

I'm walking out of the elevator when I see my siblings approach me. "Hey guys." I say surprised to see them. "Hey" they all say back. "Where are you guys heading?" I ask them.
