Lauren's POV I got out of the pool without the boys noticing and ran inside. I guess they figured out that I left because I heard Nadia telling them to not go in. I saw Mackenzie with her head in Ruby's shoulders in the corner. I was trying my best not to cry. I sat on Loren's couch with a towel wrapped around me biting my nails staring into space. All of a sudden I felt a tear go down my face then another. And after that there was no holding them back. I heard the door open but never looked up. I felt an indent in the couch.
"Are you okay?" It was Nadia I shook my head no. She hugged me and then more tears came but I wasn't balling. I guess I was just trying to wrap my head around what was happening. After 5 minutes of sitting there hugging Nadia. I needed to get my phone from outside. She offered to do it but I told I could do it.
Hayden's POV I was looking through the screen door into the living room and saw tears going down Lauren's face. And I saw her getting a hug from Nadia then more tears came. I sighed and turned around. To see Mackenzie in the corner with Ruby. Mackenzie looked back her eyes were red. I was walking over there then I heard he door opening and saw Nadia walk over to Mackenzie then Lauren came out after. I stared at her for a while she was walking to her seat and grabbed her phone she about to walk in then Mark slipped in after. I ran up to the door but Mark locked it so I couldn't go in. I was furious. They were talking then I saw Mark pointing at me. Lauren looked at me then looked down quickly. I then saw Mark hug Lauren and I thought she wasn't going to hug back but she did. I felt like crying at that moment...
Lauren's POV Mark followed in behind me and I saw Hayden trying to get in until I saw that Mark locked it. "I didn't mean to make you upset it's just that I can tell he's trying to rope you in into his little games so he can break your heart." Mark said.
"He seriously just spun me around and hugged me and you flipped out!" I said back to him.
"But do you see him worried about what we're doing when he has a girlfriend in the corner crying her eyes out!" He said pointing to Hayden. I looked at him then looked down. "He's trying to keep this reputation that he's this guy who gets girls then let's them go when he gets 100 more followers(I don't really think this about Hayden it's just how Mark is thinking) then goes to the next girl for 1,000 more. Lauren please forgive me!" "Okay." I said trying to force a smile. He hugged me and I hugged back. I looked over Marks shoulder to see Hayden sitting there. And I could tell he was getting angry, but I knew this was going to happen. I knew I would have another way to let my 'crush' get to me again.
Mark went out first then a couple of minutes later I walked out passed Hayden and went up to Mackenzie.
Mackenzie's POV I was in group hug with Nadia and Ruby crying my eyes out. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Lauren. I started sobbing again and ran into her arms we both dug our heads in each other's shoulders. I could tell this was very awkward for her since they were basically fighting over her.
I'm not crying because I think Hayden is in love with Lauren. I don't think that he is. I'm crying because he looked at me in the corner but when he realized Lauren wasn't there he tried to beat Mark to her. Which now makes me wonder. Why? I think that he's just really protective over Lauren. As a brother maybe?
I let go of Lauren we wiped our faces. And I walked over to Hayden.
Hayden's POV I looked up and saw Mackenzie standing above me her eyes were red she asked if she could talk to me inside. We got up and I looked back at Lauren who trying to get cheered up by Nadia and Ruby but I could tell it wasn't working. I just need to talk to her.
*Inside with Hayden and Mackenzie*
"So what was that about?" She asked me "Nothing, it was just he kept coming at me like i was basically cheating on you!" "You and I both know that's not true!"she said "Exactly... but why were you crying?" "I don't know it's just the way you were giving Lauren all that attention after the fight and you looked at me but just turned around..." "I didn't mean anything by it I swear!" "You know what lets just forget anything happened and just enjoy the rest of the night ok?" She said and I nodded in agreement. We walked back out and Lauren was talking to all the girls and Mark was talking to Carson and Jacob. When I went to my seat I overheard their conversation.
"I'm telling you should not have said anything in the first place..." Jacob said to Mark. "But I'm the one who got Lauren I'm pretty sure their Bestfriend friend relationship is over." Mark said as he pointed to Lauren. "After I talked to her I could see in her face that she was never going to talk to him again after his actions today." Mark said and bro hugged Carson and Jacob. I just wanted to slap him!
We ended up going inside and we just talked except for Lauren and I still haven't talked. Then Lauren got up and changed into an extra pair of pajamas she brought with her.
