Mackenzie's POV
I don't know if Johnny will ever talk to me again, but tonight I'm going to try to forget it tonight and have a good time with my friends. When we arrived at the party. We got out of the Uber and went inside everyone immediately started dancing except for Johnny and I. And that's only because he was getting hit on by girls. It hurt a lot to see that.
About an hour later Nadia and Ruby finally pulled me outside to talk.
"Okay. What is wrong with you? Why aren't you having fun?" Ruby asked me.
"Yeah. You're acting really weird. What's wrong?" Nadia added.
I told them what happened between Johnny and I.
"Kenzie why would you say that in the first place?!" Ruby said.
"It was a joke I didn't mean it. I swear!" I defended.
"You need to talk to him." Nadia told me.
"I know..." I said. And they just stared at me like I was stupid.
"Oh you mean...Now!"
"YES!" They said together.
I walked back inside to look for Johnny. I found him in the corner talking to this girl.
I grabbed him by the arm and dragged him away.
"HEY LET ME GO!" He screamed for me to release him.
I let him go when we got to the side of the house.
"What is wrong with you?!" I screamed at him.
"What's wrong with me... YOU MEAN WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!"
"You're over here talking with all these girls!"
"Why would you care go date your MONKEY!" He said in response.
"JOHNNY! You know I didn't mean that!"
"Yeah sure."
"Listen to me... I like you a lot and when I get nervous I talk...a lot and I start being really sarcastic and saying things I don't mean! And I know you think I'm lying and I'm just trying to cover my mistakes, but if you think that th- !!" I got cut off by his lips on mine I was shocked but kissed back. The kiss lasted about 2 minutes until he pulled away.
"I like you too." He said with a smile. I started to blush.
"I'm so sorry I swear I didn't mean anything I said that d- ."
"Shhh... I know I'm sorry I didn't believe you in the first place." He said while cutting me off. I got a huge smile on my face. He hugged me and I hugged back.
"Mackenzie Ziegler will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me. I squealed then pushed my lips onto his.
"Does that answer your question." I said with a smile.
He picked me up and spun me around. I couldn't have had a better night.
