Mitch's POV

~ I woke up in my old bed in Montreal. What the hell? Why am I here? I get up and grab my cell phone. Odd. All the members of TC that are in my contacts are deleted. And so are all my other friends.

"Mom?" I called out. No answer. I ran up the steps that I used to run up. There my mother is, cooking pancakes.

"Mom? What happened to my phone?"

"What do you mean? Nothing is wrong with your phone."

"All my contacts are deleted. Jerome, Sky, Mat?" She stared at me in confusion.

"Jerome, Sky-Adam, Ty, Jordan, Preston, Rob?"

"Mitch, sweety, who are those people?" How could she not remember them? I was frozen in horror.

"You really don't remember them?" I whisper. She shakes her head.

"I don't know those people. Maybe it was a dream. I'm sorry." I run to my room and dial Adam's number. Thankfully I remembered his number.

"Hello?"

"Adam! Thank God!"

"Who is this?"

"It's Mitch...or BajanCanadian!" I laugh at my own lame joke.

"..."

"Sky, you don't remember me? We make minecraft videos together? What about 'Skyja' or 'SkydoesMitch' or 'Merome'?"

"Your fucking weird." Then he hung up. Maybe I should call Mat. I dial his number.

"Hello?"

"Mat?"

"Mitch? Why are you calling me?"

"We're friends, remember?"

"Is this a prank? Dude, we hate each other, remember?" He said, mocking me.

"No! I don't remember! Are you and Sky pranking me?"

"Who the hell is Sky?"

"Our friend! Like Jerome?"

"I don't know anyone named Jerome."

"We made CoD YouTube videos together and then we made minecraft videos."

"I think you might be high. I'll do you a favor and I won't tell anyone because I feel sorry for you." Then he hung up. So Mat and I were never friends...and I never met Sky...and Mat never met Jerome? What's happening? Okay, one more try. I dial Jerome's number.

"Sorry, this number does not exist." I don't know what to do anymore. How could they not remember me? I start packing my bags.

"Mom, I'm going to L.A." She sighs.

"Why?"

"Because, my friends are not imaginary and they do exist."

"Mitch, let it go! I'm sorry you had an amazing dream and now it's over. I am not letting you go to America to find people who may not exist."

"Please, trust me. I know what I'm doing."

"Mitch, you are almost twenty-one. You do not know what you are doing."

"Please!" I beg. She sighs and nods.

"Fine, but I am not helping you! This can be your mistake."

"Thank you, thank you!" I kiss her on the cheek and run out the door.

~ I arrive in Los Angeles a few hours later. The only house I can remember of is Ian's. I knock on his door. He opens the door and when he does, he looks very unhappy.

"Ian?" He looks at me strangely. I sigh.

"You don't remember me either?"

"No, no, I remember you from somewhere. Are you Mitch Hughes?" My face lights up.

"Yes!" I hug me and pushes me away.

"Sorry."

"Come in." We walk into his living room and sit on his couch.

"Where do you remember me from?"

"I once had this dream and you were there and some other guys were in it too. We lived in this huge mansion and we made YouTube videos."

"I had that same 'dream' but it was real! Was there a guy named Jerome?" He nods.

"I remember him...you two had a thing?" He asked hesitantly.

"Yeah...he was-is the best thing that ever happened to me."

"That's sad...I'm sorry, dude." I nod. I miss him so badly that it hurts.

"I wish I could help you in some way."

"We should gather all the people we knew and try to help them remember! Please, I'm begging you!"

"I don't know...maybe. We can try but I don't know if this will work." I hug him again and he pushes me away...again. We laugh together and go off to find Adam.
