Mitch's POV
~ Jerome and I arrive at the reception in a limo. I never let go of his hand the whole time.
"Husband?" Jerome whispers against my neck.
"Mmhmm?" I hum.
"I love you."
"I love you too, biggums." We kiss briefly before we're greeted by Adam, Preston, and Mat with a camera.
"Hey newly weds! How's it like being married?!" Preston cries.
"It's marvelous." Jerome tells them.
"How about you Mitch?" Preston asks, pretending to be holding a microphone.
"We've been married for about an hour, Preston." Adam laughs and Preston looks down, acting ashamed. "To answer your question, I couldn't be more happier." Preston perks up and turns toward the camera and cheers. The rest of the party is the usual stuff; guests congratulating us, eating cake, and dancing.
~ After a few hours, Jerome and I escape to be alone on the balconies. He holds me tightly against his chest and we gaze at the stars.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you Jerome, as cheesy as it sounds."
"Me too, G." I snuggle my face into his neck. I look up at him, he looks sad.
"What's wrong, biggums?" He looks down at me.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" I smirk.
"We can't afford a honeymoon yet, but I promise that we will very soon."
"I don't care about that, I'm just happy to be with you." Jerome sighs in relief. As we stare into the moonless sky, I replay all the beautiful and fun memories I've had with Jerome. And I'm glad that I can finally spend my life with Jerome.
