Heya, just a pre warning that I haven't edited the chapter yet, so if there are any mistakes or I've repeated myself or whatever, forgive me and try and make sense of it till I can edited it. Love all you wonderful people and hope you enjoy! xxx

"Hey, how was the hang over?"

I turn around from pinning yet another 'How dangerous drugs are' poster to a dirty cream coloured hall way wall, to be honest I don't even know why I'm doing this task because this isn't my specialist area of teaching, but I guess I'd better get used to doing other peoples little jobs while they slack off, I am the new guy at this school anyway, so it's only natural for the my new colleagues to take advantage, isn't it? or am I just being too understanding? brushing these thoughts aside I look into the eye of the only familiar face I know around here with a cheerful smile and simply say in response,

"Great, actually... Well apart from the minor laceration to my left side, it was just peachy." I finish with sarcasm lacing my voice I let the smile drop from slightly from my face and move further down the corridor as to pin another poster to the wall.

"What laceration? What happened?" Tom asks with concern evident in his voice

I can already tell that this task that was only going to me 20minutes is now going to end up talking 40 if Tom is going to start asking questions. while sighing I carry on down the hall way to pin another poster to the wall while pushing past chattering teenagers before replying,

"Na, it was nothing mate, wasn't even that deep so no need to go all motherly and concerned. I got it when I climbed off the McDonalds rubbish pile after passing out." I say casually before turning down right down another corridor to start pinning up, yes you've guessed it, more posters.

"Anyway" I continue "how did ii end up at the back of McDonalds in the first place? where did you go?" I ask curiously glancing to my left to look at Tom, how was avoiding eye contact and looking rather guilty.

"You getting a cut on your side isn't my fault you know" he replies, now looking me in the eye "you said you were happy to walk home after you saw me hitting it off with the brunette, and to be honest you looked like you needed to by the state you were in." Tom whispers his reply to me so the kids bustling past us wouldn't hear about our drunken affairs.

I stop half way through pinning another poster to the wall and glare at him with wide eyes and what I can assume to be a look of astonishment on my face before replying in an equally hushed tone   "and even though I was pissed out of my mind you thought you'd just let me walk home alone?" even while saying this I can feel the anger boiling up inside me as my last words were laced with traces of annoyance, which I can only presume Tom picks up on as he snaps make his response.

"You said you could cope!"

"I was pissed" I hiss back through clenched teeth "I cant remember half of what I said or did that night apart from..." I stop abruptly as I recall that night, or more specifically, recall the time spent with Lucy. The way every movement she made filled my head with her heavenly scent, it was mix of newly bloomed flowers, summer sunshine (if that even has a smell) with hints of citrus, all of which is enhanced with her delicate perfume, oh, and the way her delicate lips moulded to mine with every movement and tasted of peppermint and strawberries, weird combination I know, but it worked, and with each kiss it left me hungry for more... I just cant stop thinking about that night... about her.

"Apart from what?" Tom questions as he casually leans against the wall on which I was previously pinning a poster to. Sighing I finish sticking the poster I had left half done to the wall properly so it is no longer flapping around in the breeze let into the corridor every time someone opens a door before turning to look at Tom again, ready to reply and spill the whole story when he beats me to it.
