Lucy awoke with a start due to hearing a loud crashing sound that’s usually made by her gate. However why would anyone be coming to her house at 4 in the morning?

“Great, why does all the freaky ghost noises always happen whenever mum and dad aren’t home?”

Flinging her duvet covers off her Lucy gets out of bed and walks over to where her dressing gown is hung on the back of her door, before slipping into it and opening her door.

“Harvey? Harvey, is that you again falling over the rug?” Lucy calls out to her 6 year old dog, knowing full well that he can’t respond, but she just wanted to fill the eerie silence that has fallen over the empty house.

As Lucy reaches the bottom of the stairs she jumps when she hears another loud bang, this time it comes from the front door. She quickly dives into the lounge on her left at the bottom of the stairs to get out of the view of the front door. Looking around the lounge she hopes that she finds Harvey missing and that the noises are just him wanting to be let back in from the garden, but to Lucy’s dismay she find him in his bed sound asleep.

“Fab, we get a dog to help protect us and the house yet all he does his sleep, thanks a bunch Harv.”

The banging starts again, only this time it sound like someone trying to put keys in a door…

What? Maybe mum and dad decided to come home early from their party, and are too drunk to open the door? Lucy thinks to herself Oh common Lucy stop being so scared, just go open the door. She slowly stands up and walks over to the front door and unlocks it and takes it off the latch.

However, when she opens the door, standing in front of her is a handsome man who looks to be in his late 20s, with dark black hair and beautiful sky blue eyes.

“Why are you in my house?” he questions Lucy

 “Your house? I’ve lived here for as long as I can remember, this is my parents’ house…”

Benedict looks at her and frowns, but accepts the fact that it’s his mistake. He tries to turn and leave, but lets out another groan.

“Are you alright?” Lucy asks him, before looking down at his side and realising he’s bleeding. Without thinking she opens the front door wide and steps outside to help Ben into her house;

“Well, if you count being drunk and bleeding okay, then I’m just peachy” he replies as Lucy sits him down on a chair in her kitchen.

“Let me take a look” she says to him before gentle lifting up his shirt.

Omg! His so gorgeous, I mean look at his body… no, focus Lucy; concentrate on the job in head. Lucy looks up again to find looking at her with those beautiful eyes.

“It’s not as bad as is looks; you’re only cut the surface of your skin; it shouldn’t be a problem to fix.”
