Ben POV
The door hit the wall with a loud clatter making both Lucy an I jump before the realisation hit us. We've been caught.
"Hey so are we going out or..."
Tom stops dead in his tracks when his eye land on Luce and I, neither of us daring to move, thinking that staying frozen will prevent him from working out what's gone on.
"....what...WHAT!" Tom finishes, finally breaking the silence an conforming that he has indeed worked the situation out.
"I should go" Lucy whispers in my ear, gently pushing my chest, signalling for me to move so she can jump off my desk. I move back slightly, my eyes locking with hers, oh god I want to kiss her again I think while looking down at her, but my attention quickly snaps back to Tom when he continues speaking.
"How in the HELL could you be so stupid Ben? Aye? She's not even 18!" he runs his hands down his face and slams the door shut just as Lucy beings walking towards it making her jump again, I smile slightly to myself at her nervousness, I mean, I should be too, but we've been caught by Tom, its tom, he wont tell anyone... I at least I presume he won't.
"Mr Hiddleston?" Lucy says sounding amazingly composed "I think I should go"
"Yeah I think so too"
She continues walking to the door but Tom steps in front blocking her way.
"But after you both explain WHAT IN THE HELL THIS IS!" he shouts viciously, causing Lucy to take a step back, I walk forwards, placing my hands on her shoulders at an attempt to sooth her.
"Tom just calm down" I say in calm collected tone
"Calm down, are you freaking kidding me mate? How do expect me to react when I find you making out with a student?" Tom hisses at me, thankfully lowering his voice slightly. Running his hands through his messy hair he suddenly looks from Lucy to I with realisation flooding his eyes.
"She's the girl from the other night, the one that's got you all loved up..." he says accusingly, but when neither of us replies he walks up to us and hisses through gritted teeth "Isn't she!"
I feel Lucy sink back into me and to be honest I don't blame her, in fact I feeling like doing the exact same thing. I've never seen Tom this angry before, not even when I ran over and broke his foot because he was being annoying... I hug my arms around Lucy in a protective manner and take a deep breath before answering "Yes Tom, she's the girl I was telling you about... But I didn't know that Lucy was a student here or that she's 17 when I first met her the other night, honestly Tom. I didn't" I finish quickly when I see him turning, ready to leave. He looks me dead in the eyes, trying to see if I'm lying or not.
"What about you?" He says looking down at Lucy
"I... Um... I honestly didn't know that Ben was going to be a teacher here sir and I wasn't really thinking about age when...um...we..." I squeeze my arms round her slightly to stop her from rambling "Sorry, but I honestly didn't know" She finishes, slightly shocked with the hole situation.
"Ben...."
Ain't it fun living in the real world,
Ain't it good being all alone...
Tom and I look down at Lucy expectantly as she suddenly pushes herself out of my hold and rushes towards her bag, pulling out her phone.
