Thirty

"I'm going to beat all of you" Mitch said as we entered the bowling alley.

"No you're not you suck at bowling" I said as we went to the front counter to ask for a lane and bowling shoes.

"I don't suck!" Mitch said in a offended voice.

"Yeah you do" Ally, William and I said at the same time.

"You guys are mean" Mitch said in a childish voice as he crossed his arms and pouted.

We grabbed our bowling shoes and sat down to put them on.

After we did we quickly started to play.

"Let me show you how it's done" William says getting up.

"Hey" Ally took a seat next to me.

"Hey" I said back as I watched William bowl.

"You and William eh?" Ally smirks at me as I hit her lightly.

"Shut up" I can feel my cheeks heat up.

"Omg you have a crush on William" Ally says as I cover her mouth right away.

"Don't tell anyone" I said to her as she nodded.

William took a seat next to me.

Ally looks over at me and gives me a thumbs up.

We watch Mitch bowl and to be honest he sucks really bad, like really bad.

"That was a good shot" Mitch took a seat next to Ally.

"Yeah until it went out and you ended up not hitting a single pin" I said to him.

"I will beat you!" Mitch said as I just smiled.

"Okay you are on" I shook his hand.

"I'm lost?" William was confused.

"Oh this is this thing that we had in high school. Every time we compete against each other we have to make a bet with each other. If you lose you own the other person $50" I explained.

"Cool" William understands.

We chill out for a bit bowling and eating nachos.

William and Mitch went to the restroom leaving Ally and I alone.

My back was to the entrance.

I see Ally looking at that direction looking shocked.

"Shit" she said looking behind me.

"What?" I turn around and see the two people I didn't want to see.

Connor and Lauren.

"Shit" I turn back around quickly to face Ally.

"What do we do?" I asked her as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Mitch and William are going to be here soon" Ally tries to make things better.

"Ally the only lane that is open right now is the one next to ours" I said as I look around at all the other lanes. All of them are taken.

Connor and Lauren stopped in their places as soon as they saw us.

"You have got to be kidding me?" Lauren said to her self.

I look over at Connor not even saying a word. I can see Connor swallowing hard while staring at me.

From the corner of my eye I can see Mitch and William walking out of the restroom.

Mitch seems to notice the awkward moment as they walk closer to us.

"We're back!" Mitch announces breaking the awkward tension.

"Thank the lord for Mitch" Ally said as Mitch took a seat next to her.

William took a seat next to me looking confused.

"Let's go in our lane Connor" Lauren grabs Connor by his arms and drags him to the lane beside us.

"Why is Connor Mcdavid staring at you?" William whispered in my ear.

"Oh he and I used to date until he cheated on me with that girl" I said as we both looked at the couple.

"Who would cheat on you?? You are too perfect to be used like that" William said making me blush.

"Aw cute" Ally said while taking a video of us.

"Ally stop!" I said.

"Sorry" Ally quickly puts her phone away.

I didn't want to go bowling but I was dragged her by Lauren.

I did not expect to see Maddy, Ally and Mitch here.

I also didn't except to see William Nylander here.

I noticed how close he got with Maddy and to be honest I was jealous.

William put his arm around her as they continued to talk.

That should be me over there not him.

I see Maddy blush and smile over something he said.

She's so cute when she gets awkward.

One of the reasons why I feel in love with her.

"Connor could you please stop looking at those two and focus on me" Lauren selfishly says as I roll my eyes.

Lauren is so not the person I want to be with.

"Lauren can you please get food?" I want her to get away for a moment.

"Okay baby" she walks away leaving me alone.

I turn my attention back at the two.

I'm hoping that nothing more is going on with them.

I want my girlfriend back.

I want Maddy back.

I can over hear what all four of them are saying.

"Last round them we can go back to my place" Maddy says.

"Let's watch a movie" Ally says.

"But we always do that" Maddy points out.

"Yeah but I want to cuddle with Mitch" Ally says as I can imagine Maddy with a disgusted face.

"Guess i'm cuddling solo tonight" I head Maddy mumble.

"I'll cuddle with you" William says.

"I would love that" Maddy says in a cute voice as they both end up laughing.

I guess Maddy is moving on.

Does this mean that I should move on too??
