As we entered Vibe Night Club, my senses became overwhelmed. Lights pulsated to the music and cut through the fog of smoke. The music was on full volume and made my heart feel as if it would beat out of my chest. The air smelled of smoke and alcohol, so much so that you could practically taste it.

I made a beeline for the bar. I was going to need help getting through tonight. I immediately ordered a daiquiri. As soon as it was placed in front of me, I discarded the straw and started sipping it down. Jada appeared beside me.

"Starting already?" She laughed.

I nodded, taking another sip.

"Something happen?" She asked, somewhat concerned.

"Not really, just...him." I mumbled before tipping the glass again.

"Awh honey. I'm sorry, but you have to move on" she rubbed my back "but if it's going to make you drink this much, maybe it isn't so bad after all."

With a hearty laugh, she ordered a large margarita. She was always more of a partier than me, but has dragged me to more than my fair share of parties and clubs.

I leaned all the way back, finishing off my daiquiri before ordering another fancy looking mixed drink. I threw the straw away and took a large sip. The alcohol was starting to do its job. I could feel it working it's way through my body, relaxing me.

Jada's favorite song came on and caused her to yelp. "Come on, Morgan! We HAVE to dance to this one"

I tried to stay at the bar, but she grabbed my arm and pulled me out onto the dance floor. With the help of the alcohol I had consumed, I began to move with the music. When the song ended, Jada slung her arm around me.

"I need another drink. What about you?"

I nodded quickly as we returned to our previous positions and ordered another round. After a while, Harry appeared.

"How are you lovely ladies doing?" He asked, putting an arm around each of us.

"Much better now" I said, holding up my glass and finishing it off.

He chuckled at me before turning to Jada. "Would you like to dance?"

"Of course" she said, finishing her drink and hopping up from the barstool. She grabbed his hand and led the way to the dance floor.

I giggled to myself. They were just so cute. I was trying to get the bartender's attention when Niall appeared.

"Hey Morgan" he chirped.

"Hey Niall" I replied, my focus on the bartender.

"Are you feeling ok?" He asked, sounding slightly concerned.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked, my eyes still behind the bar, getting slightly irritated that I didn't already have another drink in front of me.

"How many drinks have you had?" He asked.

"I don't know" I held up my hands trying to count my drinks on my fingers, but for some reason, had a lot of trouble.

"Do you normally drink this much?"

I shrugged. "No I don't really drink at all but it's been a long day." I waved for the bartender. Why wasn't he paying attention to me?

"How about you take a little break?" He said, pulling my arm down.

For the first time, I turned to look at him with a scowl. What's wrong with another drink? They make me feel better.

"Don't look at me like that. You'll thank me tomorrow." He said calmly.

He began to guide me away from the bar. I didn't want to leave, but didn't feel like fighting him. Suddenly we bumped into another guy.

I started to apologize until our eyes met. I froze and most of the buzz from the alcohol disappeared. It was him.

"Morgan?" He asked incredulously.

"Brett" I breathed, too quietly for anyone else to hear.

"Who are you?" Niall asked, stepping in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" Brett asked me, obviously surprised I was at a bar and completely ignoring Niall.

"She had a big fashion show today and we are celebrating." Niall answered for me.

"Who are you?" Brett finally looked at Niall, sizing him up.

"I'm her boyfriend and I believe I asked you first." He said protectively.

What?

My head began to spin. I couldn't handle everything that was happening. Darkness clouded the corners of my eyes, threatening to spread.

"Really, Morgan? You're with this dick now?" Brett asked with a chuckle.

"Excuse me?" Niall spoke up again.

The darkness crept closer and all the sounds around me began to mix. I heard both of the guy's voices, but couldn't tell who said what.

I closed my eyes, trying to clear my mind, but it wasn't working. I was able to open my eyes again just in time to see a fist land on a jaw. Then everything went black.
