It has been a month and a half since I was told about the fashion show and I just turned in my designs to be fabricated. One Direction is coming in today to discuss their involvement with the show. Mr. Cameron explained to me what they were expected to do and it is now my job to relay the message to them.

As it turns out, they don't do much other than bring a crowd. Apparently, the newest designer in the show always has to deal with the celebrities. Everyone seems to dread the job, but it doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. I don't understand why it is treated like a chore, but whatever.

I'm also excited that it's One Direction. They seem like pretty cool guys from what I've heard and I really like their music.

"Morgan?" Haniko's voice brought me from my thoughts back to reality. Her head was poking through my office door.

"Yes?"

"One Direction are here to see you"

"Oh thanks Han"

She stepped back and five boys appeared. For professionals, they sure didn't act like it. They came barreling through the door laughing and goofing off. They seemed like a fun bunch, but could be difficult to work with.

"Hello beautiful! What's your name?" The shortest of the group asked me. I'm pretty sure his name is Louis.

"Hi I'm Morgan and I will be working with you guys for the next few weeks."

They went down the line introducing themselves and shaking my hand. I mentally patted myself on the back for getting all of their names right in my head.

"Well it is very nice to meet all of you." I said, smiling at the group sweetly.

I explained the basics of how the show would work and for the most part they seemed to pay attention, but the conversation quickly changed direction as soon as I finished talking. Liam said something about the drawing behind my desk and it was all downhill from there.

I had sketches of outfits everywhere around my office and they managed to rummage through every single one of them. Being with them for 20 minutes definitely showed me why my co-workers didn't want this job, but I thought they were simply hilarious. I found myself laughing at nearly everything they said.

After a while, Harry piped up.

"You know, most people in this business get a bit annoyed with us, but you seem pretty cool."

"I think you guys are really funny" I admitted. "As long as you are prepared for the show, I'm totally fine with goofing off a little."

"You also look younger than any designers we've worked with." Zayn commented.

"Well I am 19. I was supposed to get an internship here, but wound up with a job instead."

We talked about random things for quite a while. They asked me a lot of questions and I returned the favor. After about an hour, I felt as if I had known them all my life.

Niall, in particular, caught my attention. We had a lot of things in common, but he was so carefree unlike me, and I feel like that drew me to him. His laugh reminded me of childhood and made me want to laugh with him.

"Don't you think so, Morgan?" Harry pressed, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Uhm. I'm sorry. What?" I stumbled a bit, trying not to make it blatantly obvious that my sole focus for the past few minutes had been Niall.

Niall noticed, however, and sent me a wink, instantly making my cheeks turn a shade of pink.

As it came time for them to leave, we exchanged contact information so that I could get ahold of them at any time if I needed anything for the fashion show, even though they didn't have much to do with it.

They each hugged me on their way out the door and said that they would be back in a week for rehearsals. I thanked them and closed my door as they exited.

I sat in my chair for a while, unsure of what to do. Everything seemed boring after them. I decided to work on accessorizing my outfits for the show.

By the time the end of the work day arrived, I packed up my things and pulled my cell from the top drawer of my desk. I don't like being distracted by personal things while I'm at work so I keep my phone out of sight. Everyone knows to call me on my work phone if they need me. There was a new message waiting. It was from Niall.

"It was great to meet ya today! You should come hang out with us sometime tomorrow!"

I smiled at the simple, yet thoughtful text. I don't have anything important to do until the designs are fabricated. One day off wouldn't hurt. I texted him back saying that I was available all day and locked up my office. On my way out I told Haniko that I would be out tomorrow. She simply smiled and took a memo for my boss.

As soon as I got to my flat, I called for my cat. Charlie came running to greet me at the door. He is a munchin cat that I adopted from the animal shelter and is the cutest little guy ever. I petted him and started cleaning up the place.

"Charlie, we are going to have company tomorrow!"
