We kept on looking until we gave up. "Wait",I said.
"We could just screw our way out of this".
"This is not a storybook", Marla said.
"But still, you have your screwdriver right", I replied.
"I guess",Clark said.
"Lets open the top"!I shouted.
Clark carried me at the top and I opened the top of the cage(the exit) and then we all climbed out.

"Thanks guys",Marla said
"can I just go home now."
"Sure",I replied.
So we all went home.We took a break and agreed to come back at the park in the morning, but I stayed a Marla' s house, I didn't want my parents to know anything until I get rid of Basid. I could get grounded as all I care, I knew I'm doing the right thing anyways.

It was morning,Marla's mom gave me one more thank you before me and Marla left.

"You guys are late", Clark said.
"Guys I have good news,"Marla said.
I told the police about Basid,They said they will look out for him.
Me and Clark gave each other the look and it was not  good.
"Um...that probably wasn't the best idea....because..uh..um..he's now going to kill people you basically care about",I said talking as slow as a snail trying to run.

"What,"Marla said panicking.
Just then a random phone number called. Marla answered it and placed it on speaker.

"You probably know me already,"said a deep dark voice
It's Basid, I called you just to let you know your mom is dead and she's not the only one who is going to be dead either. It could be you,Charlotte or Clark but hey, who said it cant be you all. Maybe it could be Charlotte's parents, who knows. You maybe be wondering why I choose to kidnap you and get the things I want in your house why I could just kill you guys and get it over with but, hey this is fun.

So you are in big trouble, missy.
Marla hanged up the phone, then she rushed to her house but when she did get there her mom was already dead.

Marla cried and weep but by doing that she was getting nowhere.

"We need to find a way to get rid of him",she said now wanting revenge.
