When blues and blacks and purples invade my view, I look to yellow.
Yellow, the wonderous color that brightens walls and posters and skies. That color that is found in flowers and suns and eyes.
Yellow, that melts hearts and makes beauty appear from nowhere. The color of birds in spring and warm candle light in winter.
Fairy lights and bumblebees and wheat.
Colored pencils and the tree that blossoms outside my window.
I find joy in little things, and one little thing is the color yellow.
