Sunlight had taken its departure to bed; tucking up under a velvety indigo blanket that polar white stars refused to sleep under.Remnants of afterglow lingered in the dusty air; dancing around gathering the rest of the heat the sun had emanated. The redhead sighed; taking up as much oxygen as feasible before draining it all on Dazai; with all morals being thrown out of the window.
Giving a life for Dazai to fix was like letting a bull in a china shop; it was just going leave it more fragmentary than before. Then shattered in millions of pieces; before trying to put it back together with a glue stick like it was possible. It just wasn't going to work. Integrity refused to let Dazai back in so does that mean that I am just going to get a one-way ticket there too. Chuuya concluded.
The brunet invaded Chuuya's personal space. The chibi pivoted around unhurried with vexation. Converging with chocolate and stardust infusing into his sapphire eyes then absorbing them into a void of forced eye contact. An extensive list of cons that never hit bottom, weighed down Chuuya's thinking capability with a set of scales, inhabiting the Port Mafia on one side and Dazai on the other. Both holding out hands filled with deceit residing in them. The cons outweighed the pros by a large ratio.
Chuuya was never good at math so he couldn't put it into an estimation that fit the number of things he would come to lose in life if he stayed with him. More and more cons came rolling in with one standing out mainly, having to see Dazai's bothersome face every day. Catching food poisoning monthly from his sad attempt of trying to please the ginger; food that was like playing Russian roulette. It was either be killed or miss by an off chance that he didn't feel suicidal that day. But that wasn't what was important right now.
The pros only left a few words of wisdom in his head "possibly might not die". "Might" is a strong word that shouldn't be taken lightly. It was true that there was a higher chance of not getting killed if staying with Dazai but the redhead didn't want to tempt fate by admitting that. But if paranoia started to dampen upon Dazai again then I will surely get killed this time. Chuuya assumed while accidentally saying Dazai's name aloud.
Another questionable option arose, but it left the redhead in a more vulnerable situation if without protection.
"What if I say no ". The brunet hoisted his lean arms above his head, provoking Chuuya into spontaneously thinking that he was going to hurt him again. But they fell to his side with a sigh. Puppy dog eyes appeared as well as a "no don't do that" expression which was recognisable that was what Dazai didn't want.
Feet made their way toward the redhead with hands out to carefully embrace his tinted cheeks. "If that is what you really want then I will let you go ".
Nothing was just as that simple with Dazai, there would be a catch somewhere.
Hands clenched firmly on the skin like a vice; creating an acute pain; shooting from inside out onto the surface layer of his pale skin.
He wanted to make a choice then and now but Dazai was preventing that from happening. Both of the choices have a possibility of death in clashing strengths, but this was the best it was going to get. There was only one chance. It was either take imminent or slow and painful.
" Can you give me a few hours to decide ". Dazai's pseudo smile manifested again, trying not to aggravate the domesticize ginger with what "he wants". He nodded with stiff movements due to dread. The brunet settled to the mahogany floor then using his knees to manoeuvred over to the bound redhead.
Rope hugged securely to his petite body, constricting him a cage of industrial strength.
" I am sorry that I did this to you. I thought that protecting you physically would keep you safe from the mafia. But it wasn't just about protecting you physically, it should have also involved emotionally. So now that I know that I was the cause of you leaving the mafia. So, I Osamu Dazai promise that whatever choice you make I will support you and help you whenever you need me".
