Finnick Pov.

Another cannon goes off. There are only two left and me. I look up and see that it's Shine. I feel bad, but good at the same time. Now I don't have to kill her. I have to face Sam and the boy from seven. I know there will be a winner today. I go to the cornucopia, I know Sam will be there. I mine as well get Sam out of the way now. Kill the harder competitor, then the easier one. I run to the cornucopia. No one is here. No one that I can see anyway. I hear something in the bushes. I turn towards it, trident ready. Just some jungle rat. I don't want to waste my time hunting for food. My goal is to get out my tonight or sooner. I see someone, running towards me. It's not Sam but it's the boy from seven. I take my spear and throw it. It barely misses his head. He has a sword and he starts swinging. I take my trident blocking all of his swings. I knock the sword out of his hand, turn my trident forward, and stab it into his stomach, he tries to fight falling, he probably knows it's the end, but he falls. He mumbles something that I can't quite make out, and the cannon goes off. One left. Just one.
