"Dani?" I looked up and saw Maddie. My mom,Demi, had already come out of surgery 2 days ago and hasn't woken up yet. The doctor said it might take a while. For me that's too long. I haven't spoken to anyone yet and I feel like I should because I'm sinking into a pit of despair.  Sometimes, I feel like giving up.  Mom probably wouldn't like to know that I haven't been eating either. Or sleeping. I haven't been doing much at all.

"Daniella, you need to eat." I shook my head as she sighed. "Look you want to make Demi proud right, then you need to do what's right. Eat." She shoved a sandwich in my face causing me to turn away. "No!" My voice croaked. She grimaced and left the room. Minutes later Grandma and dad came in. "Dani? You can't stay like this. She's gonna wake up. I promise. "

"You can't promise something you don't know." I told her lowly. I faced away from them. "Let's me talk to her in private okay?"  Grandma left. "Baby-"

"Mom used to call me that." He sighed. "Daniella look at me." I couldn't. I knew that if I faced my father, I would cry. "I can't." I looked down. "Please."

I let in and looked at his saddened look. "Tell what you're feeling." He knew what I was feeling. He knew perfectly well. "I feel...guilty. It's all my fault. I should have never ran out. I should have never hurt Sofia. I'm sorry daddy. I took your wife away. " I sobbed hard. Each sob slowly crumbling my heart. "Daniella no. It's not your fault." he shook his head and faced the window. I wanted to hug him so bad but I was scared that I would let my walls down.

I looked at the clock on the wall.

2 hours.

I've been here. Crying for 2 hours. It gets tiring.

"Dad can you call Maddie in here?"

He nodded and walked out. Seconds later she came in. "Are you okay?" She said shutting the door behind her. I nodded.  "Can you sing me to sleep?" She nodded and sat next to me on the sofa chair. She started singing and my eyes shut immediately. Taking me to dream world.

"Yeah Dems. I've been fine." I woke up to the sound of laughter. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Hey Mads, who you talking to?" My eyes were still half closed. "Demi." She replied. I shot my eyes open and ran towards her bedside.

"Momma! You're okay!"

She laughed. "You must have me confused with someone else. I'm not your mom."

I stopped right before I was about to hug her.

"What? Mom stop playing with me."  I laughed nervously. "It's not funny."

"Look I get you're a fan and everything but that doesn't mean I'm your mom. I only have two daughters. So can you please step away from me or I'll call security. "

"Dani...I was just about to tell you..." Madison started. "She doesn't remember me? Well gee thanks Madison I hadn't noticed."

Tears spilled over and over. She has to remember me.

I frowned and stepped back. I took one good look at her.

"I'm sorry." Then ran out.
