"...it's libby,and mario,sorry I couldn't answer the phone at the moment so please call(shut up mario!)again later or leave a message.thank you!!!" the voicemail says.
"Voicemail again?"ariella asks."yeah.she might think you're siding with me.that's why she's not answering your calls."I propose."you're probably right because this morning I tried to talk her into coming in here to speak with you."ariella says,tapping her chin.all of a sudden ariella's phone rings.she picks it up off my bed,she gasps."what? Who is it?"I ask excitedly."it's libby!"she exlaims."answer it!"I exclaim."I am don't rush me!"she replies.she. quickly presses answer and hands me the phone,"what did you need ariella I'm busy right now?"she asks."actually its me Libby."I say."I'm hanging up."she replies."no please listen to me!"I beg."ugh,you got 3 minutes."she says."okay, I'm sorry for betraying you libby I was just caught up in the moment and just forgot our promise on the spot.you're really important to me and I don't want to lose you as a sister.I know I'm just your step brother but I want you to know that you mean just as much to me as my real siblings do,if not even more.you might not count me as your brother but I'll always count you as my sister.you hold a special place in my heart"I say before I hear the opposite end click."she hung up."I say to ariella."did she say if she forgave you or not?"she asks.I shake my head,"are you serious?!after all those sweet things you said to her!I'm gonna go give her a piece of my mind!"she says before turning to walk out the front door.I grab her arm,"it's no use ariella.if she doesn't want to forgive me she doesn't have to.its her choice and I'm not going to force her to forgive me."I say.ariella nods in agreement."let's just watch a movie or something."ariella says."yeah.let's watch 13 reasons why."I say sadly. We sit on the bed and watch 13 reasons why until we hear the front door open and close.I get up out of bed and walk out of my room.I see Libby standing by the front door.I walk down the stairs slowly."libby,do you forgive me?"I ask quietly.she looks at me before breaking down into tears.she runs up to me and throws arms around me."I'm so sorry mario!"she says."I'm sorry too!"I reply,starting to tear up."I overreacted and I shouldn't tell you who you can and can't be with.it's your choice who you date and I'm sorry.and you'll forever be my brother.no matter how mad or angry I get at you."she says."you didn't overreact,i broke my promise to you,over and over again.I want you to trust me and make promises with me.I want is to tell each other everything without worrying about the other telling people what was said.I want to be the perfect brother,and you've been nothing but a perfect sister to me.can we make another promise to each other,can we promise to never separate and let other people stand in the way of our friend ship?"I ask."pinky promise?"she asks,breaking our long lasting hug.I laugh,"pinky promise."I say as I stick my pinkie out for her to hook hers around.she does so and then ariella and Katy come downstairs."yay you 2 made up!"ariella exclaims."bout time!i was getting tired of hearing and seeing Mario mope around the house all day."Katy says."this calls for friendship pizza."Libby says."amen!"I exclaim."agreed."Katy and ariella say together."jinx"Katy says."ugh your so childish."ariella says."like you aren't?"Katy replies before walking down the stairs.me,libby,and ariella sit in the back while Katy sits up front with adym.I grab ariella's hand and hold it,Libby looks over and sees us holding hands.she looks up to me and I look at her.she smiles at me and then gets on her phone.
-later that night-
I saw that Libby was asleep with her head straight up,i lean her head on my shoulder and lean my head up against hers.then slowly fall asleep myself.
After getting home I walk Libby to her room before going into mine.I lay on my bed next to ariella before falling asleep.
