~ 5 YEARS LATER ~
Jesse looked over at his beautiful girlfriend. Every time he looked into those big blue orbs of hers, he would fall in love with her all over again. They have been dating for about five years now and he knew it was time. He loved her so much and didn't want to loose her. He wanted the world to know that she was his, and only his. No one else could have her but him. He had also been learning some sign language to ask her a very important question.
They were currently taking walk in the park; the spring air was crisp, causing Emily to wrap her arms around herself tighter.
Jesse got down on one knee behind her and grinned. "Em?" he called out to her softly. Oh no, there weren't butterflies in his stomach; there was a colony of wasps swarming around.
She turned around; a gasp escaped her lips as she saw her lover on one knee behind her. Tears began to brim her eyes as her hands covered her mouth.
With a straight face, Jesse looked up at her and asked "will you wait for me while I tie my shoe?"
Emily dropped her hand and frowned, an annoyed look on her face as she turned back around, and continued walking. That jerk.
"Wait, wait I have to ask you something else!" Jesse called out to her as he stayed in his position.
Emily sighed against her scarf and turned around, the annoyed and pissed look still on her face as she looked back down at him.
Jesse grinned and shakily took out the ring he had been hiding in his pocket, and lifted it up. He opened the black velvet box to show the silver band topped with beautiful baby blue diamond that matched her eyes perfectly. He put the box down on his knee and signed, "will you marry me?" he wasn't even able to take a breath before arms wrapped around his neck and was tackled to the floor by a happy, nodding Emily.
