Prologue

Killua

     Its been two months since Gon and I split up to take up our own paths. Gon is now traveling with his father and me, I decided to watch over Alluka. With our family still chasing after us we never stay in one place which makes it hard to manage money.

  Leorio has been letting Alluka and I stay with him so that helps, but we can't stay forever so I began looking for jobs/missions that can help make money fast.

  I was walking around the neighborhood when I saw a bar for hunters and heard someone say that they needed a hunter for the mission. "Hey, so I heard you needed help for a mission I could be of use, " I say.

"No way. What use would a kid be?"

"Oh, so you don't need a hunter I guess that's fine I'll just offer my services else where" I say while pulling out my hunters licences and walking away.

"No way. Hey wait, I could use some help with this mission," he says while running up behind me.

   I smirk,"So, how much will I be payed?"

   "5% of what I get."

    "No way that's too low 50% of what you get or else I'll not even take it and you can go alone I just happened to need work and I doubt you'll find any hunter whose not busy and will only take 50% instead of all of it. So what will it be?"

  After saying that he looked like he struggled to answer, but eventually made up his mind and let me have 50% of what he gets. "So when do we begin," I ask.

    "In a couple days the is where you'll meet me don't be late and kid make​ sure you're ready it's going to ba difficult an dangerous trip," he tells me.

  "Dangers my middle name. Don't sweat this, I got it," I reply.

A couple days later

   While waiting for the days to pass I trained and packed things I may need and now it's time, though I was never told what kind of mission it was I didn't care as long as I was being payed my cut and if he decides to bail on me I can track him down and kill him. Well, I guess I won't kill him just rough him up a bit, maybe.

   As I was walking out the door Alluka stopped me and says,"Big brother, do you have to go can't we just stay with Leorio."

   I smiled a bit and looked at her,"No, we can't we have to keep moving they're after us, remember we can't get caught or else. You know how they feel about you. They want you dead and me to take over the family business don't forget Alluka who we are, I may be a hunter now, but I'm still an ex-assassin and so are you well not an assassin wise but part of the family. You know what happens when we betray the boss, as we can call him, they may not kill me, but they definitely will kill you don't forget that, okay?"

" Yeah I understand big brother. Be careful okay." I nod and head out.

Back inside

"Geez, as blunt as ever, but he's not lying and why do I get stuck with his crazy sister. I don't want to die! Wait, I just have to  not respond to any of her requests, okay. LIKE THAT'S GOING TO MAKE ME ANY LESS SCARED, DAMN YOU KILLUA!"

Back with Killua

   As I arrived at the meeting spot I sneeze and rub my nose when I saw the guy who hired me looking around, so I walked over and appeared behind him,"Who are you looking for?" He jumped and screamed.

    "Damn it kid where the hell did you come from?"

   "Behind you," I said in a duh tone. He sighed.

   "Well, whatever you ready," he asks and I nod.

   "As ready as I'll ever be," I replied.

    "Well, let's go." As soon as he said those words we headed out.

We were walking for hours in silence. So I made conversation,"So what type of mission is this any way." He sweatdropped and face planted at the same time once I asked. I was kind of impressed so I clapped and said,"Wow, you did both at the same time. Impressive."

  "Hey, kid you decided to take the mission without even knowing what you were doing and then wait till now to ask, what is wrong with you?"

   I shrug,"Does it really matter, do I really need to know what kind of mission I'm going on?" I ask already knowing the answer.

   He screams,"OF COURSE YOU DO IT'S HOW YOU COME PREPARED!" I chuckled under my breath.

   I magically grow cat ears and get a cat face,"Oh, and I don't recall you asking if I knew what I was getting into." He stutters and then grumbles and walks ahead and I do a catish peace sign.

    Finally, he fills me in we are supposed to escort so important people from upper class families to their important meeting or something I kind of stopped listening when he said upper class families.

      Anyway, when we got to their mansion the head of the families daughter kept trying to talk to me and believe me when I say she was really annoying. When we began to head out they got in their car, of course the being a higher class family they weren't driving, we got into the second car and followed.

    We now were in the middle of nowhere when the cars jolted to a stop and some people jumped out and began to attack, so me and the men hopped out and began to fight.

   That's when a few of the men began to use nen causing some sort of spiral to open and suck everything in sight in. The family was really close to the spiral thing and me being closest to the family jumped in front of them and got sucked in that's when everything went black.

  When I woke up everything was a bit hazy. I rub my eyes to help clear things faster and it helped a bit. I then noticed I was surrounded by a forest and I was alone. Question, was were am I?
