Chapter 5: You Failed! Kakashi's Final Decision

Just to let everyone know I'm not the best when it comes to fighting scenes.

It turned out that sensei used a subsitution. Soon after I hear a scream. I sigh and head towards Naruto."So how you hanging?"

He blushed,"Just shut up and help me down damn it." I laugh and through a kunai at the rope and undid the second trap.

"Hey Naurto do you think if we work together we'd have a better chance at getting the bells I mean there'll be two of us so we might have a better chance."

"That's nice of you Killua, but I have to do this on my own if I want to become hokage. Maybe next time," he says as he runs off to find sensei.

I sweatdrop well figured, but they really don't get it do they. Even as an assassin I sometimes had to work with my family to get the job done its normal to work alone in most jobs but when there are multiple targets I usually worked with Illumi or dad. Well that was mostly during my training period, but still. When I became a hunter thats when I really had to start working with others there were just some jobs you couldn't do alone.

Well, guess I could still try to ask Duck butt and Pinky though I'm pretty sure that ugly screech was Pinkies. So Duck butt it is. I begin to head in his direction.

When I found his only his head was sticking out of the ground and Sakura was passed out beside him."Well not what I expected. I can see that your a bit busy so I'll come back later."

He "hned" and I walked off and ran right into Kakashi-sensei."You're the last one I presume."

I smirk,"Yeah I guess so though I have a feeling even when I get that bell I'll still fail."

"Oh a little cocky are we." I shrug."Very well shall we start." I nod.

I begin be walking around him once then begin using rhythem echo and his eyes widen. I could tell he was keeping up with me so I moved in for a punch using full force. He used both arms to block but he still went flying back and hits a tree.

He stared at me in shock and I just smile and begin to run towards him as fast as I can. Note I'm not using nen which means I'm not at full power.

"Alright seems I need to take you a bit more seriously." He runs towards me as well and we begin exchanging punches and kicks. He gets me in the face causing me to fly back. I just rub my cheek a bit and run towards him again blocking as much of his kicks and punches as I can while he does the same. Each of us get in really good hits and we keep at it till the bell dings though I think he almost forgot since we kind of turned this into a sparring session and I could tell that both of us enjoyed a good spar like this. Sadly we had to go back.

"Uh oh stomaches growling huh? Thats too bad. Oh by the way about this exercise I've decided to not send of any you back to the academy..."

"Yay I did it."

"What I passed all I did was faint and fall over. Do you get points for that?"

Duck Butt smirks.Geez are all of them that dumb like seriously learn to see through deception. Well guess I should find a way to become a ninja a different way cause these guys are kind of dumb and caused us to fail.

"Thats means that means...."

"Yes that all three of you will be bropped from the program permanently."

We all freeze...hey wait, there are four of us does that mean I passed? Well I guess that makes things for me a bit easier.

Just to let you know the faces they made were priceless when he told them that. What can I say I tried to get them to work together. Okay well not really, but still I did try a bit they refused plus I knew the actual purpose for this anyway. Which is probably why I passed.

"Dropped form the program, that means we'll never become ninja. You said if we couldn't take the bells we'll be sent back to the academy. You can't just change your mind and kick us out. Why would you do that?!"

"Because you don't think like ninja, you think like little kids. Like brats." Duck butt suddenly jumps up and charges toward Kakashi-sensei but is immediately taken down with Sasuke pressed to the ground and no way to escape senseis hold.

"HEY YOU CAN'T STEP ON SASUKE LIKE THAT,"Pinky yells. "Damn seriously does this girl ever not yell like damn my poor ears."

"Wait, sensei you said three of us are being dropped. That makes no sense there are four of us," Naruto says suprising all of us.

"It looks like you noticed and your right the three of you will be dropped, however Killua passes and will become a ninja. You know why because he noticed right away on what I planned and tried to help which all of you ignored. Though honestly he could have tried harder, but at least he knew what the mission was and even after you ignored him he still planned on getting a bell. He never forgot, but also knew even if he did get one the chance of passing was low due to his teammates failing to work together. So I passed him because he's not acting like a child and is ready to take on becoming a ninja, while you guys are acting as if this is a game. On the battlefield you have to be ready for anything,"Kakashi-sensei pulls out a kunai and angles it at Duck butt,"Sakura kill Naruto or Sasuke dies." Pinky freezes and begins to look scared and about to cry."These things can happen and someone ends up dead. Take a look at this stone, the names engraved here. They were ninjas honored as heroes."

"That's it that's it that's it. I'll have my name engraved. I'm not going to live and die for nothing like a dog I'm gonna be a hero, a hero," Naruto exclaims proudly.

"They are a special kind of hero," Kakashi-sensei says slowly.

"What kind? Well? Well?,"Naruto questions.

"They were all KIA."

"OHHH that sound real cool."

"It means killed in action it means they all died,"Pinky explains.

"Hmm um oh."

This is a memorial stone the names of all of my closest friends are engraved here." He stops talking while looking at the stone to give a moment of silence for those fallen. Then begins to speak again."Alright I'll give you guys one more chance, but I'll be much harder on you this time so eat to build up strength Killua since you already passed you can just eat then sit out, however don't give Naruto any food."

Kakashi-sensei then poof away and all of us grab a bento and start eating. Naruto begins to tell us not to worry and that he can go days without food. Funny enough his stomach began to disagree."Here," I say while holding my chopsticks towards him,"we'll need you at full strength if all of us are going to make it so eat."

Duck butt sighs but then says,"I agree you'll slow us down if you're hungry I'll give you some of my food as well."

"No I should give up my food since I'm not going to eat much anyway besides you'll need more energy than me I'll give Naruto some of mine," Pinky says suprising me. She went to Naruto and begins to feed him Kakashi-sensei appears looking extremely "angry."

"You what are you doing I told you not give Naruto any food."

All of us freeze for a slight moment then begin to give off some bullshit ass excuse that we were a team and we needed to stick together. Thankfully this was enough to pass us. And all of us learned Kakashi-sensei was really cool and gave us a new quote to live by,"Those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum."

Since the exam was over we were able to go home, so after everyone started to leave I cut Nsruto down and we headed home.
