~Jimin POV~
Sitting in class more bored than ever just waiting for the last my last class to end so I can go with Kami to get ice cream. Just thinking about Kami brings and instant smile to my face.
After an extremely long class the school day was finally over I grabbed my things from my locker and ran straight to the front of the school to meet Kami, Hyun-Jee and the guys. I made it to the front of the school, I looked for Kami and Hyun-Jee but I couldn't find them.
"Jimin-ah! Over here!" I heard a familiar voice calling me.
I turned around and saw Kami waving at me with Hyun-Jee, Taehyung and Jungkook and I ran towards them."Hey guys! Ready to go?"
"Yeah! Wait where are we going to go?" Kami asked.
"There's a cafe and a park not to far from here, if you girls want we can go to the cafe for ice cream first then go hangout at the park."
"Yeah that's fine with me, how about you Hyun-Jee?"
Hyun-Jee just smiled and nodded.
"Alright then let's go!" Taehyung exclaimed like a child eagerly pushing us. We just laughed and started walking down the street.
A couple of minutes have gone by Taehyung has been asking Hyun-Jee a bunch of questions that she just shakes her head as a response. Jungkook is behind us listening to his music and Kami seems lost in her own thoughts.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked her.
"Huh? Oh nothing just old memories." She said with a small smile.
"Oh... ok.." I simply answered.
"Ummm Kami."
"Ne?"
"I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"For asking about your biological family earlier." I said looking down.
"Its fine Jimin-ah you didn't know, you don't have to apologize." She gave me a sweet smile."Besides you're making it up to me by buying me ice cream." She giggled.
"Yeah, you're right." I smiled at her.
"Hey is that the cafe you were taking about?" Kami asked.
I look forward and saw the cafe."Yeah that's the one, come on let's go." I said walking a bit faster.
"Alright guys before we go in I need to know what kind of ice cream you guys want so we're not in there for ten years ordering." I said and the girls laughed.
"Hyun-Jee will have strawberry and I'll have chocolate please." Kami said
"Alright how about you two?"
"Strawberry for me." Jungkook said.
"Rocky Road for me." Taehyung said.
"Alright you guys go to the park and hangout while I buy the ice cream ok?"
"Ok hyung, come Hyun-Jee, Kami let's go to the park." Taehyung said.
"You guys can go I'll help Jimin." Kami said.
"But unnie.." Hyun-Jee said sadly looking down.
"It'll be fine Jee-ah, Taehyung and Jungkook will protect you, and it'll only be ten minutes tops ok?" Kami said patting her shoulder.
"Arrasso unnie." Hyun-Jee said walking off with Taehyung and Jungkook.
"She's really attached to you isn't she?" I asked.
"Yeah, she is but I don't blame her I was the only friend she ever had everyone else would bully her. She doesn't really trust anyone but me, I guess you could say I'm her only protection." Kami said slightly frowning.
"I'm really sorry to hear that, please make sure she knows that we consider you guys our friends and we'll do anything to help you guys." I said with a small smile.
"Thank you Jimin-ah, we really appreciate it." Kami smiled.
I just smiled at her
"Hello I'm Jisoo, welcome to Green Tea Cafe. May I take the cute couples order?" The cashier said.
Both Kami and I blushed.
"Oh no, we're not a couple we're just friends." Kami said still blushing.
"Oh I'm so sorry, but that's too bad you guys would look really cute together." Jisoo said smiling. "Anywho what can I get for you two?" She asked.
"Oh can we have five ice cream cones. Two chocolate, two strawberry and one Rocky Road please." Kami said.
"Five ice cream cones coming up, please take a seat while you wait on your order." Jisoo smiled.
"Kamsamnida" we said in unison and went to go sit down.
"So Jimin tell me about yourself, I mean we just meant a couple of hours ago, we don't know anything about each other." Kami said.
"Yeah you're right, and well there isn't much to say I've lived in Busan my whole life without much guidance, my parents passed away when I was really young so I never really got to know them, I've know Tae, Kookie and my hyungs for as long as I can remember I guess you can say they're the closest thing I have to a family." I said with a faded smile.
"I-i... I'm really sorry to hear that Jimin." She said looking down.
"Its fine, they helped my discover my passion for singing and dancing. I'm glad I met them I wouldn't replace those goof balls with anything in the world." I smiled looking out the window seeing Taehyung and Jungkook messing with each other. "How about you Kami, tell me about yourself."
"Well I was born and raised in American with my biological family but unlike a normal family were they love one another, love didn't exist in my family... Well at least not for me.." She said looking down.
"What do you mean?" I asked knowing exactly what she meant.
"Let's just say I wasn't exactly wanted by my family. Nor at school Hyun-Jee is the only friend I had we just got treated like outsiders, but I didn't mind it she was the only one I needed. She helped me realize my love for music and art, so a couple of months ago Hyun-Jee's mother asked me if I wanted to come live with them here in Busan to try to persue my artistic dream here, and as you can see I accepted and now I'm here." She smiled.
"I'm sorry about your family Kami, but they don't deserve you. They can't see what a great girl you are. I'm glad you decided to move to Busan if not we wouldn't be here right now." I smiled at her.
She smiled back. We just stayed like that for awhile, I just admired her beautiful smile and her enchanting eyes making my heart start beating a bit faster than normal.
"Here's your order, five ice cream cones. Two chocolate, two strawberry and one Rocky Road, enjoy." Jisoo said startling us.
"O-oh thank you Jisoo, how much is it?" Kami asked taking the ice cream.
"Hey I'm paying." I said pulling out my wallet.
"Its on the house, enjoy." Jisoo said smiling and walking away.
We walked out of the cafe with the ice cream and went to the park. Taehyung was being dumb like always, Jungkook was sitting on the grass drawing with Hyun-Jee next to him, I couldn't help but smile at the sight.
~Kami's POV~
Jimin starred at Hyun-Jee and Jungkook with the biggest smile on his face, I couldn't blame them they look adorable together.
"They look good together don't they?" I asked Jimin.
"Yeah they'd be perfect for each other, too bad Hyun-Jee doesn't really talk to him." He replied
"She just needs time, she's not one to trust others so easily, but there's something about you guys that makes me positive she'll open up to you guys real soon." I said with a smile."Jee-ah, Taehyung-ah, Jungkook-ah come get your ice cream." I said and they all came running.
