a limo stopped at the entrance of the school,

but no one paid attention to it, practically everyone in this school gets down from a limo. what do you expect from a school for rich?

the door opened and soorin stepped out of the vehicle, a few books in her arm, sunglasses on and her purse hanging on a shoulder.

with an elegant smile, soorin waved goodbye at her chauffeur and walked inside the building.

as she headed to her first class, she revised her schedule in her mind 'so i have chemistry first, then economy- no wait i think it was history... or was it geography? i don't remember... i should check my phone'

but to her horror, she couldn't find her phone in her purse or in any pockets of her school uniform.

she realized she left it in the limo, and it most likely already left the school grounds.

petrified by the realization- literally, she froze in the middle of the hallway with a terrified expression on her face.

'HOW AM I GONNA LIVE WITHOUT MY PHONE? I'M NOT EVEN GONNA SURVIVE THE HOUR I'M GONNA DIE IN 30 MINUTES'

no one bothered to spare her a glance though,

except for mark who was on the other end of the hallway.

worried by her questionable state, he approached her "hi! excuse me, do you need help with something? you seem kind of out of it..."

a few words by a cute boy was all it took to snap her out of her daze,

in the wrong way though.

"who are you? why are you talking to me?"

"well i was just asking if you needed-"

"excuse me i don't have time for you i have a class to attend and my phone to fetch so please leave me alone."

soorin bumped past him and power walked away.

mark looked at her disappear in the crowd of students with an exasperated sigh, sounding defeated.

suddenly changing his set of mind, he brought his fist up with a determined face 'i'm going to befriend her, i'm not taking no for answer! ... after i finish my homework though i need to prioritize school first'
