The final approach to the center of the Bermuda Triangle wasn't made easy. The same storms that destroyed the drones caused an extreme amount of difficulty for the team.
In an instant, lightning struck the tail of the plane, setting it on fire.
"This is the captain speaking. Prepare for an emergency landing," the pilot commanded them.
Immediately, they all fastened their seat belts as secure as they could and braced for the landing. Damien looked outside the window to gauge their location but visibility was down to a bare minimum. As they went down, Damien got up with an idea. He signaled for Morgan to accompany him. So, she got up along with him and they both went to the back of the plane.
"I'm pretty sure we're gonna land on the island that we need to be on," Damien started, "but we'll all die on this plane unless we do something now."
"What do you need from me?" Morgan asked.
Damien looked out of the window. "We're going down pretty fast. So, we have one chance to get this right. I'm gonna go outside and put this fire out in the tail of the plane and attempt to calm this storm. In the meantime, you lay down a thick blanket of snow on the ground to cushion the landing. We can both exit out of the plane from the cargo bay."
Immediately, they both headed down for the cargo bay. The turbulence made it beyond difficult to navigate through the plane and the siblings struggled to gain their footing. On the way down, countless objects flew towards them, forcing them to maneuver around quickly. Once they finally reached the bay, Damien, immediately opened up the cargo door and he and Morgan flew out of the back of the plane.
Damien flew into the sky as high as he could to draw the lightning away from the plane. The lightning struck him fiercely numerous times setting him ablaze. Then, using his power, he put out his own fire and absorbed the shock from the electricity and worked to calm the storm. In the meantime, Morgan glided under the airplane in an attempt to get ahead of it enough to lay down the blanket of snow.
The speed at which the airplane was falling made it difficult for Morgan to get ahead of it. She tried with all of her might to speed up but she wasn't fast enough. In an effort to slow the plane down, she raised her arms forward and created ice sheets ahead of the plane for it to crash into. They slowed it down, though, not by much. Morgan, then, made her body as straight as possible to increase her velocity and she began to speed up.
Suddenly, the plane began to take a nose dive straight down. So, Morgan did the same to herself and managed to reach the ground before the plane did. Immediately, she started making the snow blanket on the ground. Damien, after he finally stopped the storm, rushed down to the plane. At first, he went to the tail and he absorbed the fire to alleviate the immediate danger. Then, he grabbed the tail, and using all of his strength, he pulled the tail down to put the plane back at an angle.
In an instant, Damien flew directly under the airplane and began to push it up to get the angle right for the decent and to slow it down. He began to charge up and the electric energy that surged throughout his body began to reach through the plane. Once the power kicked back on to the plane, the pilot lowered the landing gear and began to assist Damien on the inside by trying to pull up as much as he could.
Morgan stood firm on the ground and started to concentrate her energy towards the airplane. She raised her hands upwards and, suddenly, huge gusts of wind went forward slowing the airplane down. Morgan's eyes were glowing a bright white as she continued to get stronger in power. As her strength started to grow, she began to levitate slowly.
"Morgan!" Damien called out. "MORGAN!" But she couldn't hear him.
The winds were getting stronger by the second and the integrity of the aircraft wasn't going to hold up much longer. Damien flew down to Morgan and grabbed her and threw her to the ground as the airplane approached to make its landing.
