The team hurried down the stairs to meet Damien. On their way, the sound of bodies hitting the walls echoed throughout the building. Screams flooded the halls as streaks of lightning shined shined through them. As they made it down to the fifteenth floor, they were finally reunited with Damien.

Nadia rushed to embrace her husband as tears ran down her cheeks. They held each other tightly as the rest of the team walked over towards them.

"I wasn't sure if I would see you again," Nadia said to Damien.

"I'm OK," Damien said. "But we need to find Morgan and get out of here. Everything is coming down."

"We know," Christian stepped in. "We've been tracking it since we escaped. In about thirty minutes, everything is gonna blow."

"That's it? God, I can't believe he's really gonna do it," Damien exclaimed. He groaned in frustration. "Just thirty minutes? We need to expedite this escape. Do you have any idea where Morgan is?"

Christian looked to his tablet and started scrolling through the security cameras until he came across the room that Morgan was in.

"This isn't good, guys," he said worried. "She's not in her room anymore and I can't find her anywhere on here."

Suddenly, the temperature around them began to plummet. It didn't take long before a cold fog began to set in all around the building.

"I think she just found us instead," Diamond stated.

Everyone looked around but didn't see anyone or anything through the fog. The earth shook violently as the storms outside continued, causing electrical surges all over. Suddenly, everything in the high rise went dark.

Christian took a look at his tablet. "Guys, it's 15 below in here right now. And we have about twenty-five minutes left."

"Let's move," Diamond commanded.

Damien created a small electrical storm and ran the currents through the lights and wiring. He tried continuously but nothing came about. So, he opened the palm of his hand and formed a small flame to light their way.

The further to the top of the building they got, the more the temperature dropped. They knew that they were getting closer to Morgan. But all the while, time was ticking away to the planet's end.

"Twenty minutes, guys and gals," Christian emphasized.

Just then... WHAM!

Christian was knocked to the floor. The lights came on and Morgan was standing over him. She gazed up at Damien with dead glare in her eyes, an evil glare.

"No one is leaving," she said just as she fired a blast of ice towards Damien.

He blocked the blast with a fire shield and hurled a bolt of lightning at Morgan as she leaped into the air. As she came down, she formed an ice blade around her arm and lunged directly towards Damien's head. Just as she was about to hit him, Damien sidestepped the attack, grabbed her arm, threw her to the ground, shattered the ice blade, and stepped on her chest, holding her down.

"I don't want to fight you, Morgan," he said. "Just stay down."

But she caused the earth to quake, forcing Damien to lose his grip on her, and she continued her assault. Blow after blow she threw at him in a relentless attack. Damien took his time to block each one. Growing impatient, Morgan caused another tremor, this time more severe than the last, and it caught Damien off guard. In that moment, she tripped him, and as he fell on his back, Morgan froze his arms and legs to the floor.

Using her abilities, Morgan caused the concrete in the building to give way and it began to fall. As it fell, more of it fell towards Damien's head.
