I sat in a hard plastic chair that matched the others around me. There were only four of us here, all boys. Six, if you counted the overly happy attendant and the nurse they keep in here for safety precautions.

We were forced to start coming for "therapy". We would be coming everyday from now on, to talk about how we feel and to play games with each other. The other lads around me chattered excitedly, except for the raven haired boy who appeared to be in a mood.

The raven haired boy, had hazel eyes and chiseled features. He had long eyelashes and dressed in dark clothes.

Another boy had light brown hair, almost a sandy-brown. His eyes were a light bluish-green. He looked pretty normal, except for the huge baggy clothes he wore and the dark bags under his eyes.

The last boy had brown hair and brown eyes. He had a cute smile and adorable features that kinda reminded me of a little puppy. He looked relatively normal, I couldn't imagine why he would be here.

They were all so absorbed in talking to each other that they didn't even notice me, even the raven haired lad had joined the conversation and looked much happier than earlier. I watched how they interacted with each other, wishing I could do that too, but I couldn't. Before I had realized, the attendant was behind me clearing her throat.

"Hi boys!" she said in an excited voice. I rolled my eyes. This was gonna be just so much fun sitting in here for two hours everyday listening to her talk. Note my sarcasm.

"We're gonna start off by sharing our names, where we're from, our ages, and what we like to do for fun. I'll go first." she said, pausing to take a breath. "My names Shelly, I'm from London, I'm thirty-five years old, and I like to play with my children for fun." she finished, gesturing to the raven haired boy.

"Hi, my name's Zayn. I'm six-teen years old, I'm from Bradford, and I like to draw." he answered without any emotion. Shelly nodded, muttering a 'good'. She gestured to the boy with the bluish-green eyes. He took a deep breath.

"I'm Louis and I'm from Doncaster. I'm nine-teen years old and I like to sing." he said devoid of any emotion either, just like Zayn. Shelly finished writing on her clipboard and nodded to the last boy.

"Hi I'm Liam." he said with a light smile. He already seemed like the friendliest of the boys and I didn't even know them. "I'm six-teen years old and I'm from Wolverhampton. For fun I like to read." he finished giving another smile, one that made the corners of his eyes crinkle in the most adorable way.

Shelly soon looked up from her clipboard and gestured to me, nodding her head encouragingly. I didn't speak, and she nodded her head towards me again.

"Go ahead honey," she said smiling a nicely. "Tell us your name."I thought for a minute. I knew sign language, but I don't think any of the boys knew it.

By now the boys were giving me confused and curious glances. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. I opened my mouth and tried to speak again, but still nothing came out. I hated how nothing would ever come out of my mouth.

I had so many words to say but it's like they get stuck in my throat and refuse to come out. I tried speaking again, but only ended up failing. I sighed angrily, tears forming in my eyes. I should be used to this, I reminded myself. You've been like this all of your life, I said to myself, or more like thought. All the boys were looking at me like I was strange and Shelly seemed to be losing her patience.

"Come on dear, just tell them your name, that's all you'll have to say and we won't make you talk anymore." she said impatiently. That's the thing, I wanted to yell, I can't speak! It's physically impossible for me, but no matter how much I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs I couldn't, because I was mute.
