Chapter 7

Dear Diary,

Okay, so yes I'm writing in a diary and the reason is because i started watching the vampire diaries. And i thought 'eh' why not try it.

Its's been a couple months since me and luke shared our stories about our past and i feel a lot better. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest.

I hang with the guys a lot. I found out Ashton was mad because he thought i didn't like there music. How crazy is that? I love there music in fact I'm at there band practice now. They're almost done so i got to go.

"Sooo what did you think of our new song?"

"Which one?"

"Unpredictable." Luke said as he put the CD into my car radio.

I listened to the whole song. By the time the song was finished we were outside my house.

"Thats a really good song! I love it!"

"Kali? If i asked you to do something unpredictable with me, would you do it?"

"I don't know. Maybe. What's this about luke?"

Luke got out of the car and opened my door. He grabbed my hand and led me to the back yard. He spent almost every day here so he new this house like his own. He motioned for me to sit on the swing.

I sat down expecting him to sit with me. But instead he got on one knee on the ground.

What the hell was he doing?

"Kali, will you be my girlfriend?"

Girlfriend? Girlfriend! Girlfriend.

Was i ready for this?

I noticed i hadn't answered and Luke's face fell.

"I underatand Kali."

"Luke, no thats not it. It's just that, i don't know if I'm ready after what happened with Josh."

"I understand. But i want you to know that i would never treat you like he did. You'd be my everything. You are my everything."

He started to walk toward the sidewalk to go home.

I ran after him.

"Luke! Wait!"

He turned around with tears in his eyes.

"What?"

"Yes."

"Yes?"

"Yes I'll be your girlfriend."

His eyes lit up and he wrapped his arms around me. And swung me around in a circle like couples do in those cliché love movies.

I giggled enjoying our cliché moment.

"Under one condition though."

"Yeah?"

"You be my boyfriend."

"Well i think thats implied... But yes. I'd love to be your boyfriend!"

He hugged me again.

We'd been outside for a while just talking. It started to get dark and luke would either eat with us or go home soon.

Luke called his mom and said she could eat with us.

We walked to the door and i heard whispering inside. Thats weird nobody was here but my mom.

I opened the door to see my mom sitting on the couch.

"Hey mom! Can Luke eat with us?"

"Yeah sure. I'm just going to grab some pizza."

"Okay we'll be in my room."

We heard her laugh "okay, hun."

Luke just looked at me silently wondering what that was about.

I shrugged my shoukders and we kept walking to my room. The door was shut. Thats odd. I always leave it open.

I open the door to see hunter and river laying on my bed.

"Hunter! River!"

"Kali! I thought you were never coming home!"

"What are you guys doing here?" I said as i rushed to hug them.

Well, school got out early do to the school roof being struck by lighting."

"Wow! Lucky you! I still have two weeks left."

"Hey, um who's that?"

He gestured to luke. I forgot about luke. He just stood there awkwardly by the door.

"Oh, that's my ... friend, luke."

Lukes face fell at my words.

River and Hunter went over to shake Luke's hand.

"I almost forgot. We brought you a surprise." River said.

"I hate surprises." I whined.

"But you'll love this one." He opened the closet door. I looked inside to see...

"Josh?"
