Two-Sided Bite (Gumlee)

Chapter 1

Gumball's P.O.V

I watch my kingdom, seeing all the candy people walk by. Talking and laughing as they go on with their normal life.

I smile lightly watching them as I sit in my chair reading a book. 'This is kingdom is so peaceful, perfect for reading.' -I say softly moving my pink hair out of the way.-

I finish my book getting up as I walk back into my room. Seeing the t-shirt that Marshall gave me. 'It's quiet till that vampire shows up.' -I say giggling lightly remembering the first time we met.

-FLASHBACK-

'I'm off to go get some plants for an experiment I'm working on!' -I yell as Peppermint looks worried- 'Please be careful my prince.' -she says as I nod smiling walking out.-

-I walk through the kingdom, smiling up to all the candy people as they walk by. I was only twelve at the time but that didn't stop me from working.-

-I walk trough the woods looking for a certain plant when I saw something on the ground against a tree.-

-I grab a stick walking over slowly, I try to get a better look at the figure. I poke it lightly as I see it's a person.- 'Oh glob, hey are you okay?' -I ask grabbing their shoulder flipping them over.-

-I see a boy around my age, pale skin with jet black hair. He's wearing a checkered shirt, blue skinny jeans and some red sneakers. I see two bite marks on his neck, I go to touch them as the boy wakes up.-

-he grabs my hand, slamming me into the ground. I shriek as I struggle to get free- 'I'm friendly I swear, I saw you passed out and thought you were hurt.' -I say holding up my hands so I don't seem like a threat. He growls letting go as I sit up.-

'My name is Prince Gumball.'I say smiling lightly to him as I hold out my hand to him. He looks over to me with red eyes, he takes my hand smiling.-

'I'm Marshall Lee, I'm the vampire king.' -he says smiling showing me his hangs, I can't help but giggle lightly.- 'A prince and a king, interesting.' -I say as we both burst out laughing.-

'What we're you doing out here?' -I ask looking at him as he stands up- 'just taking a nap, sorry if I seemed dead.' -he says smiling to him as I giggle lightly-

'Aren't you already dead?' -I ask as he looks to me and laughs- 'got me there Gummy' -he says as I tilt my head confused-

'Gummy?' -I ask looking confused as he nods- 'yeah, were friends so we need nicknames' -he says as I smile hearing say we're friends- 'yeah of course' -I say taking his hand-

-END OF FLASHBACK-

-after that, we've always hanged out. Marshall would come to the kingdom and hang in my lap and other times I'd go to his house to listen him play his guitar.-

-You could say we were close, only as friends though which was fine with me. We did almost everything together.-

-That was till one day.-
