I was about to take a bite from the apple starring back at me when my heart raced. The apple in my hand slipped as I stand frozen.

I heard those footsteps- footsteps that are very similar to the ones I've heard at our house, footsteps of those who have killed my family. . . . It's here.

I looked up and a drop of red liquid accumulating on the white painted cieling dropped on my face.

Fear overcame me and I ran again.

Not knowing what that red liquid is. Not knowing where to go. Not knowing what to do. And most specially, not knowing why all of these are happening.

Police Station. . . .

"This case of Benvolio's massacre is getting bigger. The media is demanding to know the reason behind the most respected family in our community. I'm afraid that they might become aggressive if we delay." The sherrif said, talking to his comrades.

"Does anyone has further clues?" he added.

An officer came in rushing, slamming the door behind him.

"Sheriff! Sheriff!"

"What is it officer, that made you lose your breath?" the Sheriff asked.

"Another massacre has been acted upon the Lauckel's residence." the officer breathed.

"We must immediately act upon this. This could be connected to the other  massacre. Let's go." the sheriff commanded and they all went.

The officers reached the scene after ten minutes. Like the Benvolio massacre, the Lauckrel's body was found in one room. They all have been shot on the forehead.

"Did you see anyone leave the resident?" a police officer asked one of the neighbors who was hanging clothes.

"If I was not mistaken, I was cleaning the roof when a girlcame out of the house. She looked very scared. She was running like it was the only thing she could do to cling on sweet life. I can remember that she is the bestfriend of the Lauckrel's only daughter, Rhea. After her was. . . . I don't know if it was purely an armor or a man with an armor but it had a gud. I was so afraid at that time. I had to go and hide behind the chimney." The neighbor told the officer with shaking hands.

"Thank you!" the officer replied and the neighbor nodded.

The officer reported back to the sheriff.

"That girl, we have to find her. It seems like. . .  whatever she, he, or it is, it is going after her." the sheriff spoke with determination evident to his voice.
