Jasmine's POV

I woke up cuddled in my blankets, looking at the time I saw it was noon. I slept for a long time. I didn't remember getting to my bed last night, coming to the realization Jonah must have carried me. That was sweet of him. I was eternally grateful for what he did for me last night. I really needed the comfort.

Swinging my legs off my bed, I got up from my amazingly comfy bed (props to the boys for that) and made my way to the bathroom. After swimming in the ocean yesterday I desperately needed a shower.

I sing in the shower. Loudly. But I figured since my bathroom was away from the hallway no one would hear me. Belting out Something Different, I felt energized. I will admit, Why Don't We certainly have some catchy songs. They're not particularly my taste in music, but I would do anything to support my brother.

Stepping out of the shower I wrapped myself in a towel and went to my closet. Which happened to be a walk in. One of the perks of living with rich people. It was then that I noticed the shelves were half empty, since I hadn't brought a lot, which I am regretting now. It was hot out, probably 80 degrees, so I settled on a pastel pink flowy crop top and white jean shorts. Applying minimal makeup, because I wasn't a fan of caking my face, I skipped downstairs.

"Someone's in a good mood."

Zach commented as I entered the kitchen.

I simply gave him a grin.

I noticed Daniel was looking at me weirdly, but figured it was because he hated seeing his sister showing skin. Which was ridiculous since I'm older than him.

"I need more clothes. My closet is basically empty."

I stated.

"We can go to the mall tomorrow."

Jack offered.

"Cool."

I nodded.

"I'm going outside to read. Something Jack should do more often, your brain might actually grow to a normal size."

I teased, grabbing an apple and slipping out the back door before he could reply.

I had never actually seen their backyard before, so I stood in place for a second to examine the scenery. I settled on a lounge chair by the pool and made myself comfy, before opening my book.

But I soon came to see, well, I couldn't see at all. It was too bright. I decided to text Daniel and ask him to bring me my shades, mostly because I didn't have the other boys numbers in my phone yet.

It had been a few minutes with no reply, I was about to give up and get them myself, when I heard the screen door open and close, with Daniel walking towards me. He handed me the sunglasses I had left on the counter. Unexpectedly, he sat in the chair next to me. That strange look was still on his face.

"You seem upset."

I said.

"You never told me you smoke cigarettes."

He simply said.

"Did Jonah tell you?"

I asked, scared that Daniel was going to get mad at me. I had always told him I would never start to smoke regularly, and I clearly haven't kept my word.
