A mad veteran novel and script-writer called for all amateur novelists to join his writing battle: Armageddon. In his promotional video, that gone viral in social media sites, he said, "Tanging matatapang ang p'wedeng makapasok dahil dudurugin ko ang puso ng mga susubok, kung sino mang matira, kung mayro'n man," He then laughed evilly, "susubukin ko kung hanggang ang kanilang puso't pangarap."

Regardless of this statement, aspirants still bombarded his house on the day of the screening. He didn't like it, he expected less than ten— and so he made it. He insulted, humiliated, and degraded large number of young writers. Only seven out of almost one hundred had passed, these were the people who were brave enough to level with his sharp tongue.

One girl and six boys, Zara felt proud, she was the only woman who had passed in the first challenge. But that feeling didn't last for long when Warden, the veteran, announced that they needed to stay every weekend in his house for a month. He strictly prohibited writing outside his house. He also asked for all of their works; including poems, essays, even articles.

Only on their next meeting Zara realized why he collected their writings—it was to know who they are. Their fears, family, friends, their whole life can be known on paper. Zara limited herself from writing about her life, nevertheless, Warden managed to know her greatest fear: to write about herself.

A lot had happened in Warden's house. Dark experiences were revealed, secrets were shared, Warden succeeded in making the seven cry—and himself. But, the most interesting part in this battle was when Cosme, whose fear was writing a heartfelt love story, finally wrote one. And the lady behind his pen was Zara.

Char.

Sana suportahan mo! Maraming salamat.
