Reconciling ~

Nicole's POV

These week school days flew swiftly as if it was wind, and that wind indeed had really rejuvenated my mind for the weekends. I must say that these week wasn't any close to my usual days at school.

It wasn't how it used to be; the main reason to it is evidently the recent arrival of two boys. Drake Kingston and Brandon Gregg to be more specific. I don't mind Brandon even though Rebecca and him are getting really close, and enjoying each other presence, because my mind is well assured, and my intuitions is telling me that they both will evolve feelings for
each other, and eventually share it, and hold each other by there hearts forever.

Rebecca has only been by best friend for only a year and more, and she's a kind of person that always think positive, and her motto in life is always seeking true happiness while eluding or fighting any adversary, and actually watching a permanent grin adorned in her face whenever she's around him never fails to satisfy my soul, cause she deserves it since her prior as a best friend has always been in the level I could not possibly put into words, and ventilate.

So there would be no reasonable excuse to detest Brandon's presence, but unlike Drake the reasons are eternal.

After stating that I didn't want anything to do with him, he still didn't cease on trying to persuade and pester me to become his friend or to be his artist, but as my stubborn self I refused, and always add an eye roll.

Anyways as I said it was the weekend, it was Saturday and I was thrilled, not because it was finally the weekends, but it was also the day of my performance. As usual Saturday has always been my rendition night, and ever since my progress to being a lead singer my eager to become a musician started to evolve.

I've been self instructing myself related to my vocals in discovering a new way to vocalize my voice while it perfectly coincides with the lyrics to affect the audience with a little rhapsody.

Talking about lyrics I recently started to write songs well to be honest I first freestyle them and then write it, and then go back again and review it, and if I find any irrelevant words or verse I cancel them out, and replace them with suitable ones.

Enduring with these manner I started of with many, but only successfully completed one, and that is the one I'm willing to perform to the audience today, but that will only happen if my boss gives me permission to do it, and is very confident that I have the capability to put a smile on all the viewers and listeners face.

I grabbed my duffle bag as I head out of the house, and since my mother is too busy being occupied at her sugar daddy's house I locked the front door and placed a spare key under flower pot.

I proceed on walking to the bar, while Vince Staple's Prima Donna blared through my ear buds with every lyrical cadence energizing me to walk even faster.

Fifteen minutes later I arrived to the lounge and a grin appeared upon my lips as I entered, and noticed employees renovating some damages and deforms on the stage, while the other employees were embellishing the place with extravagant materials.

Even watching people who I may assume were cults accumulating, and residing on chairs or club chairs caused my beam to last a little longer.

After a minute of observing the place, I went straight ahead to my make up room to do a little bit of rehearsing just to be reassured I have all the notes and tunes attached to my head, before the show could even begin.

"You there! Be careful not to spray water on the bulbs, and would someone please put the microphone in front of the stage and adjust the God damn speakers."
