I tried to stay warm by hugging my arms around myself.
Only a mile or two longer, I told myself confidently. As, if I didn't come back with papa's breakfast, he would surely kill me.
I saw a few houses here and there, but they were getting more stretched out as I went on.
I started to think to myself, maybe I should have gone right.. no, I've rode on bike to the grocery before. Wasn't it to the left?
I concluded that I was wrong about turning left. I wasn't very good about directions.. and I couldn't read signs for that matter. I've never been to school.
That's when I didn't know what to do.
I've been gone for a while, I worried. Papa would hurt me if I don't come back soon.
I spun around to see where I was. The falling snow started to come down sideways.
I could no longer see where the road was. There were no cars, houses, or people anywhere to be seen.
I was stuck in the middle of nowhere during a blizzard. It couldn't get any worse than this.
I started to hyperventilate.
