J, his light green eyes looking into my big brown eyes.

I could feel that he was compassionate for me. The way that he looked at me, it was something that I've never seen or felt before.

Then, he looked down at my hands. They were purple. Bright purple.

We both stood up with surprise.

"Your hands. They're purple," surprised J said, staring.

I took off his gloves. They were red, but not too bad.

"It's because you aren't wearing any gloves!! Here take mine," urged J, handing his gloves to me.

"No I don't need them!"

"Yes you do"

"No"

"Fine, I guess I'll just throw them," he said as he threw the gloves into the snow.

I quickly grabbed them and gave them to J.

He giggled and put them on my hands.

I smiled.

Then I remembered that my whole body was going to freeze.. my hands already have.

It seemed like nothing even mattered right now. It didn't matter that J and I, total strangers, were going to die right now, or so I thought. We just stood there.

Finally, J came closer and hugged me close. He said it was to keep warm.

"You never told me, what's your name?" asked J, his eyes closed, arms around me.

I then closed my eyes too. I gulped. Should I tell him the truth? Should I make up a fake name?
