I heard a car door slam but didn't bother to glance into the café mirror... I felt a warm touch gripping shoulder,, I was daydreaming thinking about that girl who If most likely gone. I wonder what we did to deserve this, I wonder if the humans who did that are caught,, maybe i wonder to much.
"Jayla" I heard In a very distant but close voice.
I was startled and confused there were two people I've never seen before sitting across from me, I was just curious about everything happening in that awkward situation I was put in.
It wasn't that twins, there were one girl and a boy who I felt like I knew but didn't recognize.
"Who are you?"
I said kinda scandalous.
"Were your parents"
they said neurotic.
"Get away from me"
I raised my voice in disgust and anger
"Jayla let me explain"
the older man said in sorrow
"No! You left me alone for 17 years, doing everything by myself now if you could do me a favour and leave, just like you did to me before"
I got up and ran away.
Someone grabbed my wrist forcing me to come back it was my 'dad' who chased after me.

I was capable to give my parents a chance but I wasn't sure I was ready for the truth,, but I need to know.
I started to walk myself back to the booth I was in, in despair and ungratefulness.
"You have 5 minutes to explain and no substandard explanations"
I gave them a smirk of sass and boredom.
"Well here's what happened"
The supposed 'mom' said in a start telling voice.
