"Will you go to the Prechiers ball with us?" I heard Grayson and Ethan say in harmony. Grayson walked up to Savanna,, swiftly grasping her hand "I know we only met today, but I feel something between us and I'd love to attend this special occasion with you on my arm." She smiled at looked into his eyes breathlessly and nodded.
They smiled and hugged,, seemed like forever.
Ethan moved his way over directly in front of me, and we pricelessly looked into each other's eyes "yes" I said smiling because I knew what he was gonna say,, than something unexpected happened his vivid lips touched mine creating a butterfly to circulate around my head. He put me down we were both in shock it was astonishing,, I had this weird feeling in my stomach a mixture of happiness and fate... I didn't know what it was. I looked around, Grayson and Savanna vanished they weren't in the room, just me and Ethan.
"The balls tonight." He smiled.
I gasped "when!?"
He looked at the clock "two hours"
My eyebrows rose in disbelief and I narrowly shoved him out of my room
"I need to get ready, sorry!" I heard him laugh on the other side of the door I shouted for Savanna, she came running down the halls. "We need to get ready" we both said simultaneously.
We scramble to my closet going through all the dresses than suddenly my phone rang , and unknown Phone number popped up on my screen
"Hello?" I said puzzled
"Hi, Jayla faye?"
"Yes that's me"
"I'm sorry to inform you but Unfortunately your mother passed away this afternoon, by your father who seemed to be drunk while she was in the passenger seat, so your father will be held in jail for 10 years... if you could I'd like to meet you tomorrow at the police office and assign you to a system as a foster child."
"Ok, tomorrow it is."
I was devastated, I couldn't help but feel angry... they were the only parents I had, now they are gone. I dropped to the floor and started crying,, Savanna didn't know what the situation was at the moment but she dropped beside me and rubbed my back lightly.
