Hunters Mark

Chapter 4

Waking up with a big headache I sit up facing the wall putting the knees up to my chest. I know it will only be a few minutes till Dave arrives for some clofhes for me.

I close my eyes and lean my head against the wall in an uncomfortable position.
Minutes later footsteps find their way towards my cell.

I twist my head around to find Dave with a large towel and a big shirt with a large sweatpants. Dave opens the cell and walks towards me carrying everything with him. He chuckles and lifts me up by my arms allowing me to take the towel. I hold the towel out for Dave to take and without hesitation takes it. I grab the shirt Dave got me, way to big for my size and put it on turning it into a creative singlet.

I take the pants and silently thank the godess that Dave actually got me undies this time. I have to roll the pants up about 5 time again way too big for me.

Once im satisfied with the way I look I take the towel from Dave and im engulfed in a very warm hug. I hug Dave back and he just kisses my forehead.

"Anna," says Dave lokking at me hesitantly.

I look at Dave and urge for him to carry on. The way Dave looked at me with such pity just scared the shit out of me and I wanted to know.

"Well I think we should go visit our rogue" he says finally.

Ok not that bad, anyway.

Walking to the cell fo some reason I start to heat up and my legs start to give way.
I ignore the feeling and continue to walk towards the cell. I get the feeling Dave didn't tell me everything as he growls and pulls me to his side. Ugh  overprotective much.

I stop dead in my tracks as I stare at the beast in front of me. His hair was a chestnut brown, his body toned. He had muscles on either side of his arms. He had no shirt on so I could clearly see he had abs and a whole set of them to. He was only wearing sweatpants that hung loosely around the waist. I look up into his eyes and they were a light green with a hint of black in them.

My world seemed to stop as I stare in the eyes of the man in front of me.
I look into his eyes and realise everything is going to be ok.
Looking at his body again I ask in a whisper

"Who are you and why are you in our land?"

I hear a chuckle but I dont look away from his abs.

"How about you stop ogling my body first?" Says  the guy in front of me.

Oh my god. Our mate. Hes finally here.

"Huh. Anyone hear that?" I ask.

I look at Dave and he gives me a confused look. I look around and then in front of me to see the guy smirking.

Oh my god. Annastasia I swear to god, you do anything to disappoint our mate and I will never forgive you.

"Did anyone not hear that?" I ask.

"I take it you're wolf cant control her emotions" the guy says.

Im confused.

Im about to say something when Dave lunges for the guys throat. Dave starts to choke him and I find that I cant breathe.
I start to choke as the air gets pulled from me. Tears blur my vision as the guy begs Dave to let him go.

"No please stop. You're hurting her. You're hurting my mate. Please make it stop. I can feel her pain." He says pointing at me.

Huh. A look of recognition crosses Daves features before he walks over to me pulling me towards him. I hear the guy growl and then silence. Im plunged into darkness as I hear Daves words.

"Please forgive me Anna. I didnt realise and I should have known."

I feel a few drops of something wet slip on my cheeks before im plunged into the darkness.
